We had campsite #8 which has a lovely water view. Really enjoyed our stay but the park has lots of bugs. Be sure to bring the DEET as you will need it. We camped at Sebastian Inlet State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Gold Rock Campground, New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Park is ok for a overnight stay. Our campsite has a slope on one side so it took a bit to get level. Lots of noise from traffic and trains blowing their horns all night which kept us awake. Staff was friendly, but I don't think we will stay there again. We camped at Gold Rock Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at site 31 on the beachside. This is my favorite park. Love going to sleep at night to the sound of the waves. The winds off the water keep the bugs away too so it was a wonderful relaxing stay. Will be back. We camped at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach in front of the Gamble Rogers Park, but if you go through the gate at the back of the park, you can take your dog on that part of the beach.

Hillsborough River State Park, Thonotosassa, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very primitive campground. Very dirty. Lots of tent campers with fires going all day, so smoke was heavy as winds were pushing it towards our travel trailer. Dog walk area is a mess. Lots of mulch and stuff piled up in the area. Left a day early as we didn't like the park. We camped at Hillsborough River State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rainbow Springs State Park, Dunnellon, Florida

Park was very nice and quiet during our mid week stay. We enjoyed our stay, but would suggest a through cleaning of the restrooms and shower facilities. We camped at Rainbow Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Coastal Georgia RV Resort, Brunswick, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with level cement pads. Has a fenced in dog park. It's a clean park, but has a lot of road noise which makes it hard to sleep at night. Got bitten several times by tiny black flying bugs so couldn't sit outside. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Sandy Oaks RV Park & Mobile Home Community, Beverly Hills, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 days on one of the cheap sites. Very friendly park, but our site was near the large power grid with big electrical towers and there was a lot of road noise which made it difficult to sleep. Also. lots of ants. The park is nicer in the back where the premium sites are. Would stay here again, but only on a premium site. We camped at Sandy Oaks RV Park & Mobile Home Community in a Travel Trailer.
