Timberland Acres RV Park, Trenton, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Doggie bag with a treat for the pups and chocolates for the people. Very good information about the area. Huge long sites. You won't have any trouble with getting your rig in. Nice, well laid out laundry. Nice camp store. They accommodated our wish to extend our stay even though we had to move sites. We camped at Timberland Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good wifi, very friendly staff, nice pool, nice horse barn with runs, level pull through sites but fairly short. Surrounded by feedlots, but this whole area is feedlots. Good overnight stay. We camped at Lamar Sportsman's RV Center and Horse Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

Gunsmoke RV Park, Dodge City, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

No dog park but plenty of room to walk them around, nice pool, good pool, gravel sites. They park the RV at every other site, if they didn't it would be very narrow sites. Nice playground and tent area. Convenient to dodge city. Came across a harmless snake walking the dog. We camped at Gunsmoke RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cain's Creekside RV Park, Hahira, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Rate cited reflects a Passport America discount. Nice little park. Pull-through sites that were plenty wide and long. Free Wi-Fi and cable. Stocked fishing pond for catch and release. Canadian geese with their babies. Awww. No one at the office but had envelopes for cash payment for your site. We stayed only one night as we are passing through. About two miles off the highway, but nice roads. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines), Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects Passport America discount. Beautiful park with lots of trees, ponds and a a fenced dog park. Concrete patios with picnic benches, nice pavilion and laundry facility. The sites are very narrow but not hard to pull in or out, just close quarters for awning and slide outs. We would stay here again for short term, but not for extended stays. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park on the water. The rate above reflects the Passport America discount. The sites are wide and shaded by trees. Good WiFi and good water pressure. Cable TV is good. A little off I-10 but worth the drive. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp-Journey's End, Ocean Springs, Mississippi

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice wide pull through sites and trees and landscaping were nice. Right next to a great BBQ place and across from a good gas station with diesel. Quiet and easy access. Now to Why I gave it such a poor rating. The park is on a highway easement, they can't use over half the park, and it hasn't been updated in years. No WiFi, pool was a swamp, low water pressure, ants everywhere, no TV channels available even on antennae, no Good Sam discount, and no credit cards accepted. We camped at Camp-Journey's End in a Fifth Wheel.

Blazing fast WiFi, concrete level sites, stocked ponds for fishing, friendly staff, easy highway access, and great water pressure. Lots of open area for dogs to be walked, but no dog park. Great value for the price. We would stay here again! We camped at Hidden Ponds RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
