Frontier Town RV Resort & Campground, Berlin, Maryland

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived on Labor Day which unfortunately was the last weekday the water park was open. Sites were shady under the tall pine trees but the ground was dusty and dirty. (It might be better if the staff didn't rake and remove the pine needles.) The pool chairs need a scrubbing. Campground staff was very friendly and helpful, especially at the Lazy River Saloon. We camped at Frontier Town RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Cape Charles / Chesapeake Bay KOA, Cape Charles, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Nice resort with beach access to the bay and a pool nearby. Great area for viewing gorgeous sunsets. The cable TV reception was the best we've ever had at a campground. There's a $10 per day charge to use your personal golf carts. We camped at Cape Charles / Chesapeake Bay KOA in a Motorhome.

Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We booked two sites online for our favorite area of the campground that is wooded. When we checked in we were told that part of the campground is closed for the season so we were assigned sites in an open area with many other campers who were there for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was like a parking lot. Cable TV and wifi reception were poor. Rate shown reflects a "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" campground deal. We would have been even more disappointed if we paid the full rate for sites we didn't want. We camped at Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA in a Motorhome.

Ocala National Forest / Salt Springs Rec Area, Fort McCoy, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This Ocala National Forest campground is run by a company called American Land & Leisure and we had a unusually bad experience with one of the empowered "camp hosts" whose site was across the road from ours. Noise from Highway 15 is very noticeable in sites near the overflow parking area. We camped at Ocala National Forest / Salt Springs Rec Area in a Motorhome.

Okeechobee KOA, Okeechobee, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for two months. Great resort with lots of things to do. KOA Staff and snowbirds are very friendly. Would have given a 10 rating except that many of the sites have shared services. We only had 30-amp service during our stay because the KOA WorkKamper behind us was using the 50-amp service. We camped at Okeechobee KOA in a Motorhome.
