Fredericksburg RV Park, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park. Clean, manicured, level pull-through spots. The wi-fi and cable worked very well. Bathroom and shower are extremely clean and private. It is very convenient to Main St and all the highways. We enjoyed simply walking our dog around the park, sitting by the fish pond, and we appreciated the friendly staff and long-term campers. There were several long-term campers there. They are proud of their chosen temporary homes, as they should be. Great, great park. Can't say enough good. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Powell Park Marina, Broaddus, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was very friendly and the grounds were neat. The sites are easy to access and pretty level. We view of the lake was very nice... Wish we had brought a boat. Bathrooms were easily accessible and clean. My only complaint was the ants. Everywhere. Don't avoid this park because it is a nice place to camp. But, bring your ant spray. We camped at Powell Park Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Livingston/Onalaska KOA, Onalaska, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and nice park. Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have a boat so we fished off the bank. Not much luck. Not much else to do in the park or in Livingston. However, the sunset and waterfowl views were stunning. We rented Space 74. The hookups were on the wrong side because it was meant for motor home and staff told us ahead of time. We managed just fine. No shade but great view. Highly recommend and would ask for space 74a next time. More shade. We camped at Lake Livingston/Onalaska KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
