McDaniel, KY Axtel COE Campground. Great COE campground with waterfront and water view sites. Most sites require some leveling but didn't see any extreme. There are some big rig friendly sites just make sure you research or call to inquire. W/E or Electric Only or Nonelectric sites available, dump station onsite. Each site has gravel/blacktop pad, fire ring, picnic table and fish cleaning station. There is a beach and playground. Very calm campground in our eyes even when mostly full. Great places to fish from shore or there is marina across street. Bathhouses pretty standard, charmin toilet paper!! No hand soap though, clean. Verizon and ATT worked very well no issues. One negative thing but not huge no selling of firewood or ice within campground had to go 1 mile up the road to hardware store to get. Roads to get to campground not bad typical lake country roads once off major but very doable just take your time.

Mammoth Cave, KY - Nolin Lake State Park - Great state park! Sites are very large with a good amount of spacing between them. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring and the driveway and patio are made of the fine gravel. Some sites have view/access to lake for fishing. Site are W/E only with dump station. Have bath house looked nice but did not use. Have basketball and volleyball and several places to fish. Outside the rv part of campground is a beach and primitive/picnicking area as well as a boat ramp. Verizon signal was decent better than expecting. Roads getting to park are your regular roads to a lake so no surprise and in good shape. Have a very small selection of items at registration office and sell firewood and ice.

Campbellsville, KY - Green River Lake State Park - Nice campground, sites are a little close together but sometimes typical for state park. in part of the park they've had to cut down several trees due to ash boar. Electric (30amp) and Water hookups, dump station, picnic table and fire ring on each site. Didn't check out bathhouses ( but from previous visits were decent no ac/heat), have good camping store on site that sells few camping needs and ice and firewood. Also have putt putt and beach swimming area which was nice. Verizon and Att&t worked well. Have wifi to purchase if necessary. Golf carts are now allowed for a fee I believe. Public boat ramp and Marina close buy. Over all nice campground, would return.

Excellent State Park. Large open sites, gravel sites with picnic areas, each site has picnic tables and fire rings. All sites are W/E only with dump station. No wifi, very little Verizon coverage, appeared AT&T had better coverage. Didn't use bathhouses but looked very nice and updated stalls and shower stalls. Campground sold firewood and ice. Campground host was very nice and would deliver firewood. No views of the lake but ramps are within a short drive. There were hiking trails but due to rain we weren't able to access. Very easy drive from Louisville.

Several bath houses . The one we used was dated but clean. Select loops have full hookups. We stayed in B2. It was pretty level; had to level side to side a little. Not all sites are level and require some leveling. Sites are sort of short not too bad for us there. Class A's just have to park toad in the grass, which campground seemed OK with. Sites are in circles which is nice as you don't have a view of your neighbor's camper. You have your own view of woods or something else. Appears other loops have electric and water hookups if not full hookups. There are a couple playgrounds, 2 dump stations. Each site has a fire pit. Within the resort there is a Marina where you an rent boats also a Lodge where you can go eat meals as well. There is a campground pool. It wasn't in use but opens Memorial Day weekend. There is mini golf and a mini store to get ice, firewood and limited supplies. There is several hiking trails within the park if you only want to do one we suggest Eagles View best view in the park. The only complaint I have is there is not a Lake view but there is a local swimming hole east of the marina next to a boat ramp which is nice. Sites are asphalt with a asphalt patio area in the middle of the site. Very nice mature campground.

Great state campground. Appears most site weren't level but didn't take much for us to get level front to back and side to side. We stayed site 33. Make sure you have at least 50 ft in water hoses. Bathrooms looked very clean, we didn't use showers. Very good spacing between sites which was a great surprise. They have several campground hosts and patroled the park, which made me feel safe. They would also deliver firewood if needed. Great hiking to see bison, trails in pretty good condition. Verizon cell phone worked like a charm. Very friendly staff. Pets welcomed, didn't see a dog park. Road to state park pretty good incline. We came from 71 North and one of the roads to get to the park is very windy and steep (use caution) but we got through it. Not sure how the road would be if coming from 75.

LOVE, LOVE this campground! Very clean and well maintained campground. Bathhouses were very clean and shower stalls were very large. Campground host was very courteous and helpful with firewood. We stayed in site 218, which was one of the 90 degree angle sites and can see where it could be difficult especially with large campers and tow vehicles. Large sites, most have some shade afternoon or morning. Great lake with beach access. No Wi-Fi or Internet service at all, however with my iPhone with Verizon service was able to make phone calls and texts. Friend with iPhone with AT&T service had Internet and phone and text. But friend with Android with Verizon wasn't able to get anything including calls and/or texts.

Overall very nice campground. We stayed here 3 nites during our vacation and took the time to tour some of the caves in the area (which the campground is located near). Gravel roads and site. Site was level. We were traveling with friends and they have buddy sites available which was nice. Shared a lawn area and fire pit. Not all sites have fire pits. Bath house was very clean. Seemed to be used a lot for overnight stays since very close to interstate 65. Have some road noise but wasn't too bad for us. There is a train close by, but we chose to stay on the opposite end (opposite end from dog park) and heard it but wasn't a deal breaker.

Loved, Loved this campground. We stayed on site 34 which is a waterfront view of the lake. Awesome is all can say about the view. The site was level, paved, and picnic tables in good shape. The waterfront sites the land does slope down to a fence which wasn't a big deal for us. We stayed Sun-Wed but the water park was only open on weekends which made for a quiet stay which was nice. Bath houses were some of the cleanest I've experienced. The only down side is with the water park not being open during the week when we stayed and there wasn't a swimming beach we could use that wasn't far away. But other than that it is one of the best parks I've had the pleasure staying at.

Very, very nice state park. The site spacing is very large compared to other state parks I've visited. Love all the hiking trails within park. Restrooms were very clean. Only thing negative thing I can say, and not sure if anything could be done, is that the ticks were awful, Make sure you take preventive measures for you and your pets. Overall very nice state park would return.

Stayed here for night was suppose to be 2 but decided to leave. Wifi was promised per website but wifi was not available. Needed a key to use restrooms was not provided and no one available to give to us. One good thing to say, sites were large and spaced nicely. Also junk yard next to campground was pretty annoying and loud on Saturday morning. We did call and complain and good to report we were refunded our money for the 2nd night.
