Rutledge Lake RV Park, Fletcher, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for three months (June-Labor Day 2016). Nice little park. The sites are gravel, varying in size, and we had a nice shaded site for our stay. Toad parking can be a challenge, but wouldn't keep me from staying here again. For the kids there is a nice pool, fishing pond, paddle boats and play area. Restrooms clean and well-kept. Laundry room could use a little work. Well maintained park - I believe they even have 100amp service in the newer area. Very close to restaurants, Walmart, shopping -- Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Slide Rock -- all within an hours drive. We even found ATV trails (few and far between in western North Carolina). All in all, a nice place to stay for a vacation. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fossil Valley RV Park, Vernal, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Nice shady park - lots are close together though. Lots of noise from the road, but it did die down at night. Gentlemen in office is very nice and helpful. Had FHU pull through site for our 34 ft 5er and dually -- didn't have to disconnect for the night. Very helpful! We camped at Fossil Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground, Wilson, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

Most expensive park that I have ever stayed at - but not much to offer in FHU RV sites in this area. However, during the three nights we stayed here, each day we saw active wildlife in the park. A plus for me. Sites were very close together, but utilities worked well. Shade trees also. Laundry room very clean, but could use an upgrade. $2 to wash, $2 to dry. We camped at Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Buffalo Crossing RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Bare bones park, no amenities. Not much to choose from in W Yellowstone, so decided to try this one. Spaces are close together in basically a parking lot. Utilities worked just fine (50 amp FHU pull thru site). As previous customer stated, office is a hut right behind the IMAX theater. We camped at Buffalo Crossing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Desert View RV Resort, Needles, California

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Wow. Agree with the previous commenter. When we arrived it was 112 outside and miserably hot, but the host greeted us at our rig and escorted us to the site, then checked us in right there. Called later that evening to get a bag of ice as ice machine was locked. They delivered the bag of ice to our rig. Great customer service - very friendly hosts. Site was level, well-groomed, had a hedge of oleander and trees for privacy. All utilities worked perfectly, and had a cement pad for chairs, grill, etc. Easy on/off I-40. Rate is Good Sam. This place is a 10! We would definitely return. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here two nights while visiting Yosemite. Very nice little park - great visual appeal and very friendly office staff. No problem with hookups at all. We had a pull-through 50 amp site under a shade tree. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Merced River RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

RV Park at Rolling Hills Casino, Corning, California

Great stopping point right off I-5. RV Park is smaller, and sites are all paved, but maintained very well. Was allowed to choose any empty site. All sites are pull-throughs and will accommodate any big rig. Full hookups and everything worked perfectly. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at RV Park at Rolling Hills Casino in a Fifth Wheel.

Comstock Country RV Resort, Carson City, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Good campground for the money. Cost per night is all inclusive - no hidden fees. Sites are a little narrow, but doable. Right at intersection of 395 and 50 - convenient to everything. Very friendly staff/owners - owner escorts you to your site. Busy park, and has some road noise, but not overwhelming. Would definitely return here again. We camped at Comstock Country RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tahoe Valley RV Resort, South Lake Tahoe, California

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Resort? Not even close. This is an older campground - and not kept up very well. Arrived around 6pm and no one was in the office - a note posted on the door told people to pick a spot and check in in the morning. Only had 30amp service -- water spigot handle broke when trying to turn on the water. Could not get Tailgater to pick up signal due to tall pines. Didn't have any interest in using other facilities at all. Would not return again. We camped at Tahoe Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park for the money. Stayed here for 4 nights. Laundry room(s) could use some updating. Paved parking - gravel between lots. Nice size lots -- not sitting on top of neighbor. Gated -- has guard. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
