Rustic Wagon RV Campground and Cabins, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

This would be a straight 10 but for the price. I have a problem paying $50+ for any park, even in Yellowstone! However, it is in fact cheaper than some other parks in the area. We drove through just about every RV park in West Yellowstone and think this is the best park in the area. Wi-Fi is decent until park fills up. Fibre Optic should be online by Spring. Cable TV was available. We camped at Rustic Wagon RV Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If Ken checks you in suggest you pay attention and take notes on what he says! Everything he told us was on the money and VERY helpful!

This is one of the cleanest parks we have ever stayed in. All the staff is super helpful and cheerful.

Park is very quiet at night.

Water is clear, sweet and soft. You will need a pressure regulator.

This is our park of choice in West Yellowstone.

Lee Creek Campground, Cardston, Alberta

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet park with large sites. In late September, when we were there, there was no one in the office. It was handled much like the National Parks in the US. Pick out a spot, put your money in an envelope and you are done. We will stay here on our next visit to Cardston. We camped at Lee Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Tok RV Village, Tok, Alaska

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed overnight here in a 38' Motorhome with a towed. Large gravel pull through site required blocks to level. Stable 30amp elec and good water. Office staff very courteous and friendly! Reasonable price on high pressure car wash. ($26.00 for Motorhome and truck). This park was very quiet and super easy off/on the Alaska Highway. Thought $44.00 was a little expensive. We camped at Tok RV Village in a Motorhome.

Pioneer RV Park, Whitehorse, Yukon

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in a 38' Motorhome with a toad. Long easy access gravel site was low in the front requiring blocks under jacks. Stable 30 amp elec. with good water. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Pioneer offers a $.03 per ltr fuel discount. Internet is limited to 300mb per day but is fast. Easy access to Alaskan Highway. Good high pressure car wash is available. We camped at Pioneer RV Park in a Motorhome.

Countryside RV Park, LLC, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in a 38' Motorhome with a towed. Pull through sites were large and level with lots of grass. Good 50amp elec and good water. This park was very quiet and easy off/on to freeway. This is NOT a luxury park with all kinds of amenities but it is very well maintained and an excellent park for an overnight stay. Staff was courteous and friendly. We camped at Countryside RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were very close together. Maybe 3' between our slide outs and our neighbors! Park sets about 1/4 mile from the end of the runway on the Gallup Airport. Planes start flying around 5:30 a.m. and continue until around 10:30 p.m. Not a constant flow but enough to keep you awake! Good stable AC power. Water had strong chlorine aroma but was clear and clean. We would probably not stay here again as a result of the small sites and airplane noise. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Large paved sites with stable AC power and good clean water.
Pet kennel available but you will need health papers.

Rancho Jurupa Park, Riverside, California

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Would have been a 9 for me if they had sewer hook-ups. They do have a dump station.
This park is clean, very quiet, and is behind closed gates at night.
AC power is good and remains stable.
Water is good and pressure is 50+ lbs.
This park is an excellent value for the $15 Passport America rate. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Motorhome.

Tomorrow's Stars RV Resort, South Charleston, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are large with some shade. Access and egress of pull through sites is easy. Utility hook ups are convenient. Good stable 50 amp power at 124 VAC. Water pressure is at least 50# with good clean water. Park is very quiet with no highway or rail noise. Wi-Fi is slow but adequate except between 6-8 pm when it is very slow. No cable TV or phone hook ups available. Numerous golf carts and vehicles moving through park but 5 mph speed limit is strictly enforced!! This park is very quiet during the week but fills up with club members on Friday pm through Sunday. Huge pool that is almost empty during the week but jammed full on the weekends. Lots of young kids and teenagers on weekends but EVERYONE was very well behaved and polite. Overall this is one of the more comfortable parks we have stayed in throughout our travels. We camped at Tomorrow's Stars RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Louisville North Campground (formerly Louisville Metro KOA), Clarksville, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Access to overnight spots is easy but they are very narrow and only about 55' long. You will probably have to unhook your towed. You can not fully extend your awning without contacting your neighbor's slideout! 50 amp power was stable around 120 VAC. Water pressure is 75#. (They sell high flow regulators in the store.) Rail line along back perimeter but not many trains on Sunday night. This park is convenient to downtown Louisville. Very friendly staff that make the best of the cards they have been dealt. We camped at Louisville North Campground (formerly Louisville Metro KOA) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Beware of GPS directions to the 900 address. There is a 10' rail crossing and road construction in the area that can make access difficult from the south. Make sure you approach the park from the west if coming from Louisville. Use the GPS coordinates that are provided on the web page.

Missouri State Fair Campground, Sedalia, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in a 38' motorhome with a towed.

Elec power was 50 amps and maintained 120 volts constant.

Water pressure was 45#.

Easy sewer hose hook up.

No Wi-Fi.

The sites are are large and grass, which is good unless you get a 3" rain in one night! Then it is $200.00 for Don's wrecker to pull you out! We camped at Missouri State Fair Campground in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV and Campground, Provo, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Located a couple miles west of Provo in a rural setting. Very nice park with huge trees, paved streets, grass between sites, and excellent utilities. AC never went below 120 VAC even in the morning when temp was in upper 30s and probably everyone in the park was running at least one electric heater. Water pressure was 55# with excellent volume. Wi-Fi was marginal in the back of the park where we were located. Owners allowed me to hand wash my RV and truck at no additional cost. Very quiet park 24/7. Pull-through sites are easy in and out. We would stay here again. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Hidden Village RV Park & Campground, Lynden, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet park with no road noise. Easy entry/exit to sites with hookups on left side. Water pressure did spike to 70# one night. Good electric, with voltage not dropping below 116 VAC at night when everyone was running their electric heaters. Hosts are very friendly and allowed us to have some mail delivered to their address. Restrooms are clean. Laundromat is very clean with $2 to wash and dry in large machines. Dining-rec room has tables and chairs to accommodate 25-30 people. Nice workout center with treadmills and several Nautilus machines. Central fire pit for nightly get-togethers and serious(?) conversations! I was allowed to hand wash my rig on my spot. Think they may have felt sorry for me or were embarrassed by how my coach looked! We just came off the ALCAN and it was REALLY dirty. We will stay here again. We camped at Hidden Village RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Bee Lazee RV Park & Campground, Prince George, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Easy entry/exit from pull through spots. All hookups located close. Good gravel and grass spots. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Showers/restrooms were VERY clean. Showers were FREE with lots of hot water! Laundromat was also very clean and cost was 2 loonies to wash and 2 loonies for 40 minutes of drying time. High pressure RV wash was 1 loonie for 4 minutes! With nightly temps of 25F we saw no bugs during the day. The only negative was some sites will have small limbs touching if you have opposing slide outs. I'm sure they would trim these if you asked. We will stay here again. We camped at Bee Lazee RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
