ACT Campground & Environmental Learning Center, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Good location for touring the national and state parks around Moab. The rv park is a relatively new one; all sites have full hookups and a picnic table. No trees which makes getting a signal nice however it also means no shade in the heat. Sites are somewhat level, the campground is built on a hill side so they can require extra work to get fully level. Campground is located next to Highway 191 so will get some road noise; especially sites B3-B9. We camped at ACT Campground & Environmental Learning Center in a Motorhome.

Sundance RV Park, Cortez, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park for access to Mesa Verde National Park. The sites were all well maintained by a diligent staff that seemed to be working constantly to keep everything nice. Each site had a picnic table and full hookups. Quite a few full time residents that seem overly concerned that overnight guests will do something wrong. The park is very nice however we will probably check out one of the others next time we are in the area. We camped at Sundance RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cedar Creek RV Park, Montrose, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Very helpful staff, went out of their way to make sure everyone got into their sites and gave great suggestions on where to go and what to see. All sites seemed to be pull thru with full hookups and a picnic table. A lot of trees for shade but it does cut down the ability to get satellite. Don't follow GPS directions into the park if you can avoid it. The GPS systems all seem to bring you thru a congested alleyway behind a shopping strip. We recommend calling and getting directions from the staff at the park. We camped at Cedar Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Century Mobile Home and RV Park, West Haven, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Good overnight stop, we came in late and left pretty early the next day so didn't see much. The roads were a bit tight but still doable with a large coach. The sites we were in had the doors facing each other which is nice if your traveling with others. Full hookups and a picnic table at each site. Site was level. We camped at Century Mobile Home and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Billings KOA, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is very tight for big rigs--avoid any that aren't patio sites, which are spendy. Many amenities: fire & horseshoe pits, a pool, miniature golf, and a great little BBQ place on site that had breakfast and afternoon meals available. Right next to the Yellowstone River. Had the sites not been so tight we would have rated it higher. Staff was helpful, and each site had picnic tables and small grass areas. Some also had fire pits and patios. We camped at Billings KOA in a Motorhome.

Countryside RV Park, LLC, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects a military discount given to our entire group as we had one previous military service member traveling with us. Their policy is to thank any current or previous member for their service by discounting the entire group's rate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Full hookups at all sites and plenty of room for big rigs. No trees or shaded areas, each site has a picnic table and there is a community fire pit. Pets are welcomed however very little grass, more of a developed pasture area. We camped at Countryside RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Pine Near RV Park, Winthrop, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful, well maintained park located right in town. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The owner worked very hard to make sure everyone was taken care of; she obviously takes great pride in the park. Each site is a grass area with a picnic table and fire pit. We definitely look forward to returning to this park soon. The only negative we had about the park this trip was a very aggressive dog that lives in a mobile home in the center of the park; the dog seems fine with people however if you have a dog you cannot get anywhere in that area without the aggressive dog trying to attack. The dog was muzzled whenever it was chained outside however we did witness it physically get two dogs walking by down before the owners could pull them apart. If you do not have a pet this dog did not act aggressively toward the people in the park. We camped at Pine Near RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fidalgo Bay Resort, Anacortes, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park located right on Fidalgo Bay. Each site has a grass area and picnic table. Great paved bike / walking path takes you from the park out to the bay or into town. You can't beat the view of the bay and Mount Baker. Price reflects a waterfront pull-in site. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Motorhome.
