Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park set along the river. It is fun to watch the barges go past. They offer free washers and dryers during your stay along with many benches stationed along river to enjoy. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Elk Creek RV Park, Elk City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

While the spaces were adequate, service was poor at best. The office is opened late afternoon and the clerk took off from time to time without notice. Most of the spaces looked like long-term. There were only about 10 or so spaces available for overnight. There were posted instructions to find an empty space and settle up at the office in the evening. The in-park road is very small and at least one turn was barely possible with my 40 ft. RV and tow dolly. There is no cable TV or antenna reception. The park website states otherwise but it is wrong. The clerk stated that she didn’t have time to update the web. They were also without ice. She didn’t have time to buy any. Overall, the clerk was not helpful at all. We will probably not use this park again. We camped at Elk Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Amarillo Ranch RV Park, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Adjacent to I-40, the RV Park was easy to find. Park personnel guided us to our space which was large and adequate for our 40 ft. RV and tow. Each site had modern service pedestals. We would definitely use them again. We camped at Amarillo Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cactus RV Park, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a quaint Route 66 RV Park built around an old motel. It is not fancy but adequate for just about any size RV. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay there again. We camped at Cactus RV Park in a Motorhome.
