Nice Park! Very friendly people and nice facilities. As a "big rig" I was happy they had sites for 40' + and would highly recommend. I was in spot 35 and I wouldn't recommend that for beginners, of which I am. It's going to be hard to get out of this spot;, I will need some help. The wi-fi is good, the electrical service is fine, NYS water is nice, all good. The downside to me was that these spots are very close together. I know many RV parks are like this but that, and the difficulty of the pull-through being a true pull through, is the reason I rated this park an 8 and not a 9. For families with kids, I bet they would love all the facilities here for kids, it's really well set up for children. We are here at the beginning of the season and the leaves are just starting to show. It really is a beautiful park and one I will return to but I will be more careful about spot selection next time. Also, this is a popular park, make reservations early!

This is a very nice campground, it's clean and the store is well stocked. I just wanted to warn you if you have a 40 ft + motorhome you will need to consider this campground carefully. It's 20 miles from 81 and the roads are local, winding and very hilly. The entrance into the park is a sharp angle road. The internal road was somewhat difficult to navigate for me, I am new at driving a big rig. The owners had a "back in" site with 30 amp service for me. I am concerned about getting out tomorrow morning, it's a tight squeeze. I didn't tow a car but if I had, there was some room on the site for a car. The rate was still $47 even though it was not a pull through with 50 amp service. The site I was on had a picnic table and in the back of the site was a small fire circle of rocks. I didn't see any grills on any of the sites but I can't be sure. We visited Gettysburg and went to the visitor's center which was awesome, the campground is a short distance from the center of town and was very convenient to get there. In "season" there is a shuttle to the visitors center from the campground, it's obviously not "in season" now, the 1st week of May.
