Gateway FamCamp (Military FamCamp), Malmstrom AFB, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Camp is meticulously cleaned and well maintained. There are few trees, all sites are pull through. There are playgrounds for children and there is enough space for families to enjoy themselves. The WiFi is intermittent but does reach the sites. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Gateway FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Travel Trailer.

Balzac Campground RV Park and Storage (formerly Whispering Spruce Camp, Balzac, Alberta

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed two nights at this campground and while a great location for seeing Calgary, the campground needs a lot of maintenance. The sites are grassy, but not level. The recent rains left the ground soft and the ruts were large enough to stymie even my Hummer. The Wi-Fi does not reach the sites. It stops at the manager's house. The roads are rutted badly and the long term campers have collected enough junk to make this truly look like an old trailer park. We camped at Balzac Campground RV Park and Storage (formerly Whispering Spruce Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Fireside Car/Truck Stop & RV Park, Fireside, Mile 543 AK HWY, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The camp ground was easy to find. The restaurant on premises is being renovated along with the Motel. The camping sites were grassy with gravel. Well drained. The power is provided 24 hours by Generator. The campground s recently reopened and needs some work but is a great spot to stop for a night on a long trip. We would stay again. Everyone was friendly including the camp raven. We camped at Fireside Car/Truck Stop & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Gold Trail RV Park, Clinton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Over all the stay was good. First the negative. The WiFi did not reach the camp spaces, it had to be used in the office/restaurant. The hookups Water/Electric) were on the wrong side of the space and required extensions. Now the good. Park is easy to find, easy to maneuver, and it is clean. The owner/Manager cooks and serves a nightly buffet that is well worth the money. We will stay there again if we come back that way. We camped at Gold Trail RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
