Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground), Clarksboro, New Jersey

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here many times traveling to and from Florida. Very convenient access from I-295. And yes, it is one of a few open in January. In January this park (rear sites) fill up fast. Reservations suggested; lots of snowbirds. Water can freeze in January, so, be prepared. We'll be back in January. We camped at Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground) in a Motorhome.

Enfield / Rocky Mount KOA, Enfield, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent choice for overnight stop when traveling along I-95. Easy off and on, about a mile from the interstate. Very quiet campground. Campground is older but everything worked as advertised. Campground is for sale but that should not have any impact on services. We will camp here again. We camped at Enfield / Rocky Mount KOA in a Motorhome.

Bow & Arrow Campground, Yulee, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We called and spoke with the manager and made reservations to arrive on Saturday. We arrived to find a sign on the office door, "CLOSED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY". Well, we also saw a phone number to call in emergency; called the cell number without any response (recording). Very helpful tenants above the office gave us the number for the park owner; sorry to say, same non response. Long story short, we walked the campground. There were several permanent campers (not bad people). Campground is VERY rundown with coax cables run across multiple sites to reach a camper's site. We left and found a beautiful park elsewhere. We camped at Bow & Arrow Campground in a Motorhome.
