This is a wonderful camping spot in the Mobile, Alabama area. The sites are paved and level. Almost all the sites have a beautiful view of the Mobile Bay. It was so quiet and relaxing. The restrooms and laundry facilities were very nice and clean. The camp host was super friendly and helpful. It is only 5 minutes from the U.S.S Alabama Battleship Museum and downtown Mobile. We had a wonderful stay. We would have spent the entire week here if not for having other reservations. We will be staying here again!

This state park was recently rebuilt after the hurricane. It is a very nice place to bring the family. There is a water park in the park. It looks nice. It was not open at the time of our stay. Restrooms are new and kept very clean. There is beach access right outside the park entrance. The only down side to our stay were the bugs. The gnats were almost unbearable in the late afternoon. The whole family ended up with what appeared to be flea bites after a visit to the beach. Bring bug spray! The campground road signs on the highway in Waveland instruct you to turn at the wrong intersection. Make sure you have good directions and follow them. Overall we had a nice stay.
