Mostly full timers in this park. Right next to I-5 but not too much noise. Adequate for an overnight stay. We camped at Rivers West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Village Camper Inn RV Park, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This park is right off the 101 but very, very quiet. We had a pull through and there was plenty of room for our 38' RV and toad. The cable system provides many channels but image quality could be much better. Might be my coax from the pedestal to the coach and not an issue with the service. We camped at Village Camper Inn RV Park in a Motorhome.

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a very nice park for what it is. It is clean and well laid out. What we didn't care for about it is that, if you take away the cable TV and the full hookups, it just felt like a big parking lot. There are trees and it is nice and clean but other than that we could has saved the money and stayed at Walmart. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Friendly RV Park, Weed, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We are new to RVing and this was the very first RV park we ever stayed in. We liked the park. It is small and there are some full timers that appear to be construction works in the area for a job. Our space number 14 was quite large. It was nearly level and asphalted. The park sits at the base of Mt Shasta and you get a very good view of it. There is road construction on the frontage road that provides the only access to the park so the entrance was restricted by that construction which made the entrance drive very narrow. When we left it was only possible to go left which was the same way we entered. Once we were out, we saw the road was closed at the end blocking our only exit. Fortunately the workers moved the cones and let us pass during a break between trucks coming in to the job site. All in all a good place to stop for a night. Very easy access from I-5. There are train tracks that run along the park boundary but when trains pass it was nearly unnoticeable. We camped at Friendly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jalama Beach Park, Lompoc, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We are brand new to RVing and this is our first stay in a county park. The place is Very much worth visiting. I was concerned about the road coming in based on other reviewer comments but in our 38 foot coach pulling a toad it was no problem. It is challenging but very passable and the traffic is very light. As you near the park, you will crest a hill and the ocean comes spectacularly into view. It is truly beautiful. Our space 112 is very much adequate for our large RV. Spot 112 is up at the top of the park which has the most commanding views. At this point in our experience, I have a difficult time imagining a better place to park for a couple of days. We camped at Jalama Beach Park in a Motorhome.
