One of the most scenic parks I've been to in Texas. Very nice campground. The Cypress trees are beautiful. A couple of cons come with this scenic beauty. No WiFi is available and the only way to get a cell phone to work is to go to the top of the hill by the check in area. Also, there are lots of trees close to, and hanging over, the road. You can get through them, but if you aren't paying a lot of attention to them you could easily hit one. A guided tour of the lake is strongly recommended to fully experience the area.

We stay here often because it has 50 amp service, is rarely full or busy, and is nice and clean. Very nice campground.
