Zane Grey RV Park (55+ park), Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a total 10 from the moment you check in. Very clean and well maintained park, perhaps one of the nicest parks we've stayed in. It's so nice to be out of the "resort style" parks. Nice and down to earth. Sites are a good size. Someone mentioned road noise, during the day there is a bit but nothing distracting at night it's very quite here. No cable but picked up about 35 TV channels OTA. We camped at Zane Grey RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Sherman County RV Park, Moro, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I would agree with the other reviews....not much to look at but it's perfect for an overnight stay (however the view of the wheat fields, if that what they are, is very pretty and relaxing). The bathrooms are spotlessly clean, it's obvious that someone cares. A woman from the park came to collect the fee and she couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. Dollar for dollar you can't beat this park for an overnight stay...$20.00 for 30 amp service, cable TV and fast internet what more do you need. Would not hesitate to recommend this park or stay here again in the future. We camped at Sherman County RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sky Ute Casino RV Park, Ignacio, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Great RV park!! All sites are paved pull throughs. The park hosts could not be more welcoming and helpful. Check in was a breeze, though it is done in the casino at the hotel registration. The are laundry facilities at the casino's hotel. The location of the park is great for exploring this part of Colorado. Would not hesitate to stay there again. We camped at Sky Ute Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Heartland RV Park & Cabins, Hermosa, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We are currently staying in the park and are very happy. We left the other day without extending our reservation but I called the office told them we were staying 3 more days. However we didn't know if we would make it back before the office closed. Offered our credit card but they responded with just come in the next morning, now that's great customer service. Also every time I've been to the office everyone I've spoken with could not be friendlier or more helpful. Five stars for the staff here.

The laundry room was clean, cost to wash was $2.00 and $1.50 to dry. Yes the park is gravel but we've had no issues with dust, so no complains there. Our pull-thru was no quite long enough for both our rig and tow but that was fine as there was parking very close for our truck. However, there was space on our site to park our motorcycle.

Our only complaint is the WiFi to say it's spotty at time is being generous. I was able to get on, although the service was slow, it took my husband 2 days before he could connect (all we wanted to do was check our email) I know there were comments in earlier reviews about kids streaming, believe me there is no way anyone could stream...the band width is not good at all.

Did not use the restrooms so cannot comment.

Would have give this park, for our needs, a 10 if they could sort out the WiFi. We camped at Heartland RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Wasatch View Estates and RV Park, Ogden, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I totally agree with the other negative reviews of this park. It is literally an older mobile home park trying to pretend to be an RV park. You can see many of the mobile homes have been removed but the site have not be cleaned up to serve as an RV spot. This park is a mess, to put it lightly. On a positive note the gentleman that checked us in was very helpful and friendly. I asked him about the state of the park and he informed me that the owner did want to convert it into an RV Resort. That's fine BUT until then charging $20.00 (using Passport America) is too expensive. If we would not have had Passport America it would have cost us $40.00. The park does have WiFi but only in a very specific, small area. Don't expect to use the park's WiFi from your rig. In short the park is way over priced and unless there is no other option, until they fix this park up, I would recommend finding another place to stay. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.
