James Island County Park, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great location. It is only about 20 minutes to Folly Beach one direction and about the same to downtown Charleston the other direction. There was a small water park (extra fee) and a climbing wall (extra fee). Great walking and biking trails throughout the park. There is a great off-leash dog park by the water so the dogs could swim. We will definitely camp there again. We camped at James Island County Park in a Motorhome.

Corral Drive-In RV Park, Guymon, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

An excellent park and an excellent value. I have seldom seen restrooms/showers in an RV park this clean. The laundry facilities were also new and very clean. The sites are wide and there is a grassy area between each site. The park is next to a drive in theater and we could see the screen from our RV. The snack bar is part of the drive in and, while we did not eat there, it smelled wonderful. There is also on-site RV repair available. Highly recommend! We camped at Corral Drive-In RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tucumcari KOA, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

When possible, we always stay at KOA campgrounds. We would not; however, recommend this one. The campground itself is OK with big wide pull throughs, a dog park (very very small), and good location. However, we were treated very rudely by the maintenance staff. They advertised a hot tub. After a long day on the road, a hot tub is nice. However, when we went to the pool area one of their maintenance workers was there. We asked if we could use the hot tub and he said "only if you don't mind there's no water in it." He could have just said he was sorry that it wasn't in operation. Don't plan to ever stay here again. We camped at Tucumcari KOA in a Motorhome.

All Seasons RV Park, Goddard, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park caters to long term residents and there are a few pull-through spaces, which are very close together. We could not open our awning because the sites were too close together. We were scheduled to check in on a Sunday and the park host said our site number and other information would be in an envelope taped to the door. It wasn't. We selected a site and hoped for the best (it turned out it was OK with them). The shower and restrooms were clean but at $40/night, this was not a good value. We camped at All Seasons RV Park in a Motorhome.

USI RV Park, Wichita, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice RV park. The restrooms and showers were very clean, and the park hosts were super friendly and helpful. Good dog walking area and they were building a dog park area while we were there. Plan to stay there again next time we are in Wichita. We camped at USI RV Park in a Motorhome.
