Easy on and off access of I-81. Owners put a lot of thought into the layout of this campground. Very clean and tidy. Friendly management. Level, gravel, pull thru sites. Playground, pool with shallow area for small children, snack bar, and camp store with good assortment of items. Pavilion with tables. Laundry in center area. Clean bath house and showers. Escorted to site. Will stay here again. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in the Carousel area. Very, very difficult to pull into and then out of our site in our 40 ft Class A Motorhome. This is a campground for families with children wanting to visit Hershey Park. Good discounts on tickets. The pool was always packed with children. Numerous events during the day for children. The closest restrooms and showers were located by the pool and they stayed clean for a short while and then were filthy much of the day due to children usage. In the pure volume of children wildly riding bikes in streets and RV sites, posed noise and in our case, our sewer hose was knocked out. One hot, humid day, many were running their air conditioners. Our motorhome's electrical management system kept shutting off the power to protect our unit (due to low voltage.) A technician came and solved the problem by rewiring various lots to more equally distribute the load. He was wonderful. We stayed here for a family reunion and would never return again. It appears to us that Hershey simply put too many RV sites in a limited area. We camped at Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground) in a Motorhome.

American Heritage RV Park, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We missed the sign for the park. There is a small sign by the street and the larger sign is behind trees and blocked from sight until you reach the road into the park, so keep careful watch for it. We ended up in a dead end at the railroad tracks. Had to unhook our tow car and back up one mile as there was no place to turn around. Site nice, but neighbors park in front of their units on narrow streets and make it very difficult to pull into or out of your site in a class A. It does not appear that management is ensuring that cars are parked in their site. Management friendly and helpful. Clean restrooms and showers. We camped at American Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clarksville RV Park & Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here overnight while traveling through the area. It was easy to get to and very convenient. They have overnight pull-through sites, which are level, and the campground roads and our site were easy for a big rig to maneuver through. Need to keep in mind that there is no sewer connection in the overnight sites- I was told this when making reservations. Restrooms and showers were immaculate. Grounds immaculate and a new swimming pool is being built. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. We had a minor water pipe leak in our RV and the manager came to our site to help us with this. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
