This campground is behind the motel, has been here for many years and the grounds look it, not well kept. But with many long term working in the area residents the place was easy to get into and we had a extra long site so the big rigs would fit easily. All the utilities worked well including the wifi and cable tv. We paid the extra $2.00 to have the long pull through site, well worth the extra money. Otherwise you may be required to back in. The area is not the best looking, but we had zero interaction with anyone other than the office person and that was pleasant. Very easy access off I-75.

Date of Stay:

Very friendly staff, only a couple of nightly sites so calling would be smart to ensure a spot. I only saw 2 drive through sites and mine was long but this campground would be a better fit for smaller units, maybe less than 38 ft. Quiet setting and extremely well kept right on the lake. No sewer hook ups but they did have a dump station. Many long term rigs but it was neat and clean and well run. We will try to return and stay longer. Only a couple of easy driving miles off the freeway.

Yes the drive is about 10 minutes off the freeway, but oh so worth it. The signs are large and easy to see and follow. Flat paved roads, level concrete sites, and the setting it beautiful. Only a few pull through sites so it may be best to call ahead, otherwise you will back in. Lots of room between sites and it appears all have a view of the large fishing pond. Wifi worked well and over the air tv was good. Office staff friendly and helpful. Yes, it was very quiet at night, no trains or traffic noise. We used our Passport discount but it was worth the full price.

Nice park with friendly staff. Our site was a pull through long enough for most any length rig, and pretty level too. The interior roads including the sites were hard packed gravel and each site has a grass area inbetween the next neighbor. I saw many picknic tables, and right next to the park that is easily visible is a horse race track they use for practice racing. The park is not far off I-10 but no road noise heard on our stay.

The park is worn and tired, but the power was good, the cable TV worked well and the WiFi was useable without difficulty. Our site was close to level and long enough as a pull through that the longest rigs would fit. Sure not a place we would stay longer than a day or two, but overall works for a over night stop.

Considering this is an older park and we only stayed 1 night we were pleased with the park. The park has gravel sites and ours was level and a pull through. All the cable tv channels came in clear, the WIFI was adequate for our needs. Well worth the Passport Discounted rate of $14.00 and we will make this a place to return on our way back through.

As others have said this is just a place to stay slightly better than parking in a shopping center. The road noise is always there as your right up to I-80 and the truck noise is non stop. The price is extremely high for what you get, but the 50 amp power is good and the Wi-Fi seems strong. The sites are dirt and if it rains, they could turn muddy. The grass was long, but they have had a lot of rain in the past few weeks. The place still has the for sale sign hanging out front, but doesn't look like it has changed owners.

We normally don't do KOA parks, but this was on the route and decided to stay. The owners were so nice and they really try to keep the place pretty. Our site was level and the WiFi and power were excellent along with cable TV. Lots of grass and many shade trees. The pool looked clean and refreshing, but we didn't use it this trip. It was easy to access off the highway and was quiet without much road noise. We would make this a stop on our next trip through this way.

Our 50 amp power was strong and solid, WI-FI worked fine, and our site on gravel was as level as we needed. It is not a destination park, but it was fine for a one night stop over. Plenty of room for big rigs to get into and out of the spaces and park entrance. Only a short distance off of I-10 but no noise was noticed.

It has been 3 years since we were in this park and over that time the improvements are obvious. The sites appear to be more level, things that needed painting have been painted. The rangers all seem to go out of there way to fully answer any question and if they were not sure, called to verify. There is always some activity and the food service is good. The small store is well stocked and priced within reason. They have added 50 amp sites for a additional charge, and during the hot times, it really comes in handy. We enjoyed our stay and will make it back in another few years.

This park is just outside of town and right off the highway. There was no noticeable road noise in the area of the park we were in. It is an older, small park and all sites are back-in. We had someone in the office when we arrived and she was very helpful in giving some information on the local activities and directions to the national parks. The Passport rate is about all this park is worth in my opinion. Seems the very few rigs that are here for a season, are in spaces most others would not want. Seems most everyone we talked to are here for up to a week to see the area and then moving on.

The rate is a Passport rate and makes this a great place to stay. The sites are gravel as well are the roads. Our site was pretty level and long enough for our big rig. The free Wi-Fi was not as strong as I had hoped but it worked fine from our location in the park. The free cable TV had plenty of channels and worked well. The office lady was really helpful in describing the goings on in and around town. The main road goes by the park and during the day you do hear the cars and trucks. At night it was not an issue for us, but maybe some others it would bother. The views are beautiful and you're close to the major National Parks. We would return should we be in this area again.

Date of Stay:

We stayed as a Coast 2 Coast membership so the rate reflects that amount. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The road noise drops off to almost nothing at night time, and the train noise also is not enough to keep you awake at night. The free wifi was strong and you need a dish for any real TV stations. The gravel sites for us was level and the paved streets were clean. I don't believe the park is ever really full only because of the area. Other than rock hounding there is not much else it that area to see or do. The town has a few good places to eat and the grocery store was only about 1/2 mile away.

Date of Stay:

Others have said the road noise was very noticeable, but we did not find it to be a problem.I suppose it might depend on where you are in the park and the type of RV you have. The staff was very pleasant to deal with in making our reservation and in person when checking in. Easy off the freeway access with good signage. We will make it a point to return here should we be back in this area.

We came in under Pass Port and the rate we paid reflects that program. The park is small but laid out so large rigs can maneuver without much problem. Our site was level and the Wi-Fi was strong from where we parked. The cable TV was clear with plenty of channels. The roads and sites are gravel but we did not experience any dust issues. The office staff was friendly helpful. We would return to this park should we be in the area again.
