As others have said this is just a place to stay slightly better than parking in a shopping center. The road noise is always there as your right up to I-80 and the truck noise is non stop. The price is extremely high for what you get, but the 50 amp power is good and the Wi-Fi seems strong. The sites are dirt and if it rains, they could turn muddy. The grass was long, but they have had a lot of rain in the past few weeks. The place still has the for sale sign hanging out front, but doesn't look like it has changed owners.

We normally don't do KOA parks, but this was on the route and decided to stay. The owners were so nice and they really try to keep the place pretty. Our site was level and the WiFi and power were excellent along with cable TV. Lots of grass and many shade trees. The pool looked clean and refreshing, but we didn't use it this trip. It was easy to access off the highway and was quiet without much road noise. We would make this a stop on our next trip through this way.

Our 50 amp power was strong and solid, WI-FI worked fine, and our site on gravel was as level as we needed. It is not a destination park, but it was fine for a one night stop over. Plenty of room for big rigs to get into and out of the spaces and park entrance. Only a short distance off of I-10 but no noise was noticed.

It has been 3 years since we were in this park and over that time the improvements are obvious. The sites appear to be more level, things that needed painting have been painted. The rangers all seem to go out of there way to fully answer any question and if they were not sure, called to verify. There is always some activity and the food service is good. The small store is well stocked and priced within reason. They have added 50 amp sites for a additional charge, and during the hot times, it really comes in handy. We enjoyed our stay and will make it back in another few years.

This park is just outside of town and right off the highway. There was no noticeable road noise in the area of the park we were in. It is an older, small park and all sites are back-in. We had someone in the office when we arrived and she was very helpful in giving some information on the local activities and directions to the national parks. The Passport rate is about all this park is worth in my opinion. Seems the very few rigs that are here for a season, are in spaces most others would not want. Seems most everyone we talked to are here for up to a week to see the area and then moving on.

The rate is a Passport rate and makes this a great place to stay. The sites are gravel as well are the roads. Our site was pretty level and long enough for our big rig. The free Wi-Fi was not as strong as I had hoped but it worked fine from our location in the park. The free cable TV had plenty of channels and worked well. The office lady was really helpful in describing the goings on in and around town. The main road goes by the park and during the day you do hear the cars and trucks. At night it was not an issue for us, but maybe some others it would bother. The views are beautiful and you're close to the major National Parks. We would return should we be in this area again.

We stayed as a Coast 2 Coast membership so the rate reflects that amount. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The road noise drops off to almost nothing at night time, and the train noise also is not enough to keep you awake at night. The free wifi was strong and you need a dish for any real TV stations. The gravel sites for us was level and the paved streets were clean. I don't believe the park is ever really full only because of the area. Other than rock hounding there is not much else it that area to see or do. The town has a few good places to eat and the grocery store was only about 1/2 mile away.

Others have said the road noise was very noticeable, but we did not find it to be a problem.I suppose it might depend on where you are in the park and the type of RV you have. The staff was very pleasant to deal with in making our reservation and in person when checking in. Easy off the freeway access with good signage. We will make it a point to return here should we be back in this area.

We came in under Pass Port and the rate we paid reflects that program. The park is small but laid out so large rigs can maneuver without much problem. Our site was level and the Wi-Fi was strong from where we parked. The cable TV was clear with plenty of channels. The roads and sites are gravel but we did not experience any dust issues. The office staff was friendly helpful. We would return to this park should we be in the area again.

Friendly small park in a small town. As others have posted the sites are small and tight. They are either grass or gravel and are level. The distance between rigs is about 6 feet, so having an awning extended will probably hit the unit next to you. We stayed during the week, and it was dead quiet all night. The units that appear to be permanent are workers from various projects being built in the surrounding areas. The WI-FI was steady and strong and no extra charges. The place is small, but the look is clean and the owner is friendly and very helpful.

We used this park as a Coast 2 Coast member and if you park close to the general store on the south side of the park you can receive Wifi signal. Members that have been coming to the park for years say that there has been improvements, but for us there seemed to be none visible. it is a older park and it is showing its age. Gravel roads are not graded and have pot holes that can really rock your rig. Tree branches should be trimmed much more than they are in parts of the park. Good thing is that for children, the parks has lots for them to do. Pools are large and clean, and playground is huge with grass that is cut regularly. This park could be first class with someone really doing the cleanup maintenance.

This is a membership park and we were very pleased with the management and staff. They are doing everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. The park has 2 sections, one side has many large trees that offer shade, the other is much more open and gives a clear shot for TV dishes. The roads are gravel as are the sites, our site was level and by the looks of the park, many others are too. The grass in between the sites was cut each week and each site had a table. I didn't care for the speed bumps they have in the roadway, but I suppose it helps with keeping the speeds down to the 5 mph. The area is worth visiting and this park is on our list of good to return to.

The office staff was very friendly and informative. Getting the fresh made cookies at check in was a pleasant surprise and tasty too. The park is gravel roads and gravel sites with grass in between each rig. We got a pull through and it was easy to enter and leave. Many rigs are parked here permanent for the people working in the area. The park is well kept and quiet. We used this park as a point to see the area and found it fine as a place to stay. We would use this park again should we be in the area.

Park is easy to get into and out of. Management was friendly and helpful letting us know what was in town and things to see. Many come here because of the fishing in the lake and river systems nearby. The sites are easy to pull into with any size rig. The gravel sites are very level and with the grass along side the edge of the gravel, you're not tracking the loose gravel into your rig. Didn't use the heated pool, but it looked sparkling clean, as did the whole park. There is a wood mill next door, about 1/4 mile away, so during the day you did hear their noise, but it was not bothersome and they quit work about 5 pm and then it was dead quiet in the park. The cable TV and free WiFi worked fine. We will make it a point to return here should we ever be back in this area.

As a Pass Port park we were able to save some money on the regular rate. The park is very old and very tired with many long term residents living there in older units. Dogs were allowed to wander the park without being leashed and deposit their business where ever they wanted. The pull through sites were long and wide enough for our rig. This is not a first class park, but for being safe and off the main highway it will work. The manager fellow was helpful and willing to help. The free Wi-Fi was not reliable and seemed to be off as much as it was on.
