Tri City RV Park, Myrtle Creek, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We were traveling through so only spent one night. Would have spent more if we had known what a nice park this was. Super nice people, great wifi - good enough to allow streaming video. Very clean showers and restrooms. We camped at Tri City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Stayed here 2 nights heading north. Wanted to see the redwoods, great location for that. No cellphone service but Wi-Fi made up for that. People here fantastically friendly and helpful. We camped at Ancient Redwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hidden Valley Camping Area, Jamestown, New York

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

What a gorgeous park! Lovely friendly people and very accommodating. Could easily spend a week here if we had the time. The pool looks very welcoming. The propane station was easily accessible right in front of the office. I have a heavy rig and have had trouble in wet areas in the past. Was a little worried about the site being grassy but was assured that there was plenty of gravel under the grass. Got set up and all seems very stable and there has been plenty of rain the past couple of days. The grass actually makes for a very homey feel to the site. We camped at Hidden Valley Camping Area in a Motorhome.

Green Acres Lake Park Resort, Lake Mllton, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a love!y park with beautiful friendly people. Someone posted about the seasonal campers but that really isn't a negative. The park is big and we are here on Memorial Day and it is very quiet even though there are a lot of people here. There is a separate section for the overnighters so you aren't mixed in with the seasonal if that would be a bother to you. The owner escorts you to your site. There is a cafe with cheap ice cream! There is a trash barrel available close to every site. This park is ten times better and half the price than the one we stayed in last night in Milan Ohio which had such good ratings on Good Sam and turned out to be such a disappointment. I am kind of sorry we are staying only one night. We camped at Green Acres Lake Park Resort in a Motorhome.

Milan Travel Park, Milan, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Pay the tolls and stop at the Milan Travel Parking Milan Ohio because it had good ratings according to Good Sam. Well, after paying $40 in tolls we were met by a surly woman who never even bothered to tell us that the bath house was closed and that the only restrooms were the ones behind the office. The WiFi is the Worst we have encountered anywhere. I ended up using my phone. The place is filthy and run down. The toilet stall doors are falling off and there was a spider web the size of a trash can in the men's room. The only men's room available in this large park is the one behind the office and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. And even with the Good Sam discount it came to $40. Had I seen how bad it was before I paid, I would have dry camped in a parking lot some place. We camped at Milan Travel Park in a Motorhome.

The only good thing I can say is that it was convenient. It is behind a motel. No bathrooms or showers available for campers. Dragged bottom getting in and out of parking area. We camped at Town and Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Glenwood Canyon Resort, Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great park if a little tight for big rig. Don't trust GPS. They have moved entrance to make it easier to get in. If you follow GPS you end up unhooking your toad and making a hairy 16 point U-turn on the edge of a river. We camped at Glenwood Canyon Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park if a little tight for a big rig. Don't trust GPS they have moved the entrance to make it easier to get in.
