Covered Bridge Campground, Rockville, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small county campground. The sites are gravel, the spaces tight, but level. The utilities are a bit weird, electric on one side, water and sewer on the other. Glad we had extra hose. There were only a couple other campers here. The bathrooms are clean, but need updating. We were here about 4 days visiting family. We camped at Covered Bridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground, Romance, West Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Basic campground, beautiful lake, gravel pad, good utilities. There must be a leak with the water, there was a lot of mud and puddles in the grassy area. The pad was a bit short for our 30' motorhome, we had to park at the road edge. The bathrooms need an update and some carpentry work. Otherwise a nice place. Peaceful and quiet. There is a beautiful pond for fishing. We camped at Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground in a Motorhome.

Cullasaja River RV Park, Franklin, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We love this park and are back again. The sites are shady, grassy and level. Lots of activities too. One of the first improvements we noticed was the new railing along the creek. It looked nice. We camped at Cullasaja River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bathrooms were not kept clean. Sites and roads were gravel. Roads were narrow and twisty. Sites were level. Staff was friendly and helpful. The area is beautiful and the grounds were clean. We will go back again. We camped at Grandfather Campground in a Motorhome.

Ancient Oaks (55+ park), Okeechobee, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

As stated in the pre ious reviews, the lots must be rented from the owners, not the office. We stayed for 2 months this winter. We found the park to be very quiet, and full of very friendly residences. There are a lot of activities that go on. You are close to town for shopping. The street we were on was a bit narrow and it took a bit of wiggling to get in and out, but not impossible. We enjoyed our stay and will return next year. We camped at Ancient Oaks (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort, Clermont, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a weekend during the off season. There are a lot of permanent here but most were empty. The biggest disappointment was that despite a lot of empty grassy sites we were put in an overflow area. This area was nothing more than a sand pit full of fire ants, large bull ants and sand spurs. We had to carry the dogs over to the grassy area so they would not get sand spurs in their paws. No paved pad, no picnic table, nor any actual roads in this area. The only good thing about the site was that it was level. This is definitely a park we will not come back to. We camped at Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We were here for the weekend. We did not use any of the amenities, we were here to go into Jacksonville during the day. We had spot 140. It was level. The sites are narrow, some long others short. Good water pressure and electric with sewer hook up. The roads are narrow and twisty around the trees. They seem to keep the lower branches trimmed back. We camped at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park in a Motorhome.

Cullasaja River RV Park, Franklin, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The rate reflects a weekly rate. This is one of our favorite parks. We have been coming here twice a year for the last couple of years. The sites are level with gravel spots and roads. There are some sites along the creek. The laundry is clean. All the seasonal people are very friendly. We will return. We camped at Cullasaja River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverpark Campground, Jonesborough, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was an over night stay on our way south. Our spot was very level, gravel and long enough we did not have to unhook the car. Antenna tv was good, as were the power and water. It is a small campground and the sites along the river had trees. The pull through sites are treeless. They also have a couple of little cabins. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Motorhome.

Endless Caverns Resort, New Market, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park on a hill with plenty of trees. They did a great job of terracing the land to make large level spots. All the utilities were great. The roads and spots are gravel and well maintained as well as everything about the park. If you take the cave tour you get a $5 discount as a camper. We were only here overnight so we were glad to get a long pull through site. We will be back and already planning to stay longer. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

Donegal Campground, Donegal, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The camp ground is beautiful with nice trees. There is a pool but we did not use it as we were here only overnight. All the spots are gravel and pull through but not very level. The utilities were good but water pressure varried a bit. The owner showed us to our spot and was very friendly. I thought the price was high for no amenities other than a pool. We camped at Donegal Campground in a Motorhome.

Camp Sandusky, Sandusky, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects a weekly rate with passport. The sites were well marked, grass and very level. There were lots of trees but we had no trouble backing our 30' motor home in the spot. The interior roads were gravel and paved. There are a lot of cabins and a section for tents. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They do a pancake breakfast every morning for $4.50. This is a very busy place. Many come here to go to Cedar Point. We camped at Camp Sandusky in a Motorhome.

Oakdale Campground, Quincy, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We did not have the issues the Last person had. The entrance is a long drive through a corn field but the office is marked well. Mostly small old seasonal units. The lady in the office was nice and helpful. We did not get any tv and it is a dead spot for AT&T. The few temporary spaces are along the river and very level. There is no sewer and the bath house is quite a hike. The ladies side of the bathhouse was clean but needed updating. Hubby said the mens side needs more than renovation. It is a quiet campground but not worth more than the passport rate of $15 per night. We camped at Oakdale Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Hill Campground, Frankfort, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

The roads and spots are gravel. Most are fairly level but a few are not. The first spot we were given was too small to get level so we asked for another one. The owners are really sweet and gave us the option of 3 other spots. We selected a bigger site and leveled easily. All the utilities worked great. It is a very quiet camp with a playground and lake for swimming. There are several cabins to rent. It is on a hill and lots of woods all around. The price represents a weekly rate. We camped at Lake Hill Campground in a Motorhome.

New Vision RV Park, LLC, Oaktown, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The price reflects the weekly rate. This is a very basic campground. Gravel roads and spots, small playground for kids and fishing pond full of pond scum. There is a laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers, only one dryer worked. There is one bathroom and one shower under the laundry room. As mentioned the highway and train were very close and noisy. Other than that the campground was very quiet. The town had a break in the water main and water was out for a few hours. 2 days later a storm came through and electric was out for a few hours. Neither were their fault but we were disappointed in the lack of communication as to when the utilities would be restored or who to call. We camped at New Vision RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.
