San Antonio / Alamo KOA, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Perfect location to get downtown and many other places. Office was very helpful when finding RV repair sources. We love being connected to the "Green Belt" for biking and running the city. Very Safe! The one missing star is only because we are normally "state park" people and used to a little cheaper rate. We camped at San Antonio / Alamo KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Of course there is Downtown San Antonio. See a weeks worth of historic sites and venues. For great Mexican food turn right out of the park and go down to H.W. White Rd out of the tourist area. Lots of great little spots. The KOA itself has great meals (BBQ, breakfast, snacks), family movie night, and music!!

Longview North / Mount St Helens KOA, Castle Rock, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

A very clean park. New owners are doing their best to make this a wonderful park. They helped us with all the tourist items and gave great directions and ideas for visiting and eating. Wi-Fi is good. I did not get cable, and the antenna TV got 3 channels. My wife and I actually talked to each other!! Very nice social room with extra oven/stove, micro, etc. The shower bathroom area was small but very clean. Nice hot water! Nice grass and trees all around the park. The long term campers keep their areas cleaned up and unimposing. The view is amazing from my chair in front of my camper. I gave it a 9 only because the slots are very skinny, especially if you have slide-outs. Would love to come back!! We camped at Longview North / Mount St Helens KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Winchester Bay RV Resort, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean park. Lots have nice grass areas and you can see the water from the inside sites. No long term campers. The laundry was immaculate and inexpensive. You can ride a bicycle to lots of restaurants and fresh oysters right out of the "Oyster Triangle". It was Memorial Day and the area is an ATV mecca but the resort stayed quiet and polite. The Umpqua Lighthouse is right down the road and fishing was fun beside it at Lake Marie. The dunes are amazing. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
