This is still our favorite campground. Just love the wooded area. If it weren't 3 hrs from home, we would come here more often. We will be back next year.

Nice camp ground. Sites were a bit too open for our taste. Some areas were kind of cramped. We liked loop 5 the best. Very wooded with lots of nature trails. Access to Lake George from Campground. Horseback riding and hayrides available for additional fee. Also had boat rentals. Nature center on site and indoor tobbagon run in winter.

We loved this park. Unfortunately it rained just about all weekend. Our site was not too bad, but seen other sites that were pretty muddy. It was quiet at night. Lots of trails and paved roads. One restroom/shower building per loop, but there is pit toilets in the woods. Lakes for fishing and swimming nearby. Very nice beach area with snack bar. Registration fee of $8 added to camping fee and entry fee either per day or annual.

Very nice county park. We stayed here for the weekend while their "Haunted Woods" weekend was going on. It was their end of season weekend. Lots of planned activities during that time. It was a bit cold, but we will definitely return when it is warmer. Sites a fairly level and big enough in size. Trees through out the park. There is also rustic sites on the upper and lower (lake side) level. Nice play ground for the kids and nature trails. Fishing boat rentals available.

The park was "golf cart central". Lots of seasonals which cruise on their golf carts all day and evening long. It was fairly quiet. Most roads were paved. Bathrooms/Showers were old and could use a remodel. The site I was told to be lake front, was not really "lake front" as it was enclosed on 2 sides by a fence with a retaining wall. The path to the beach was next to that site. The location of the electrical box was situated closer to the neighboring site, which made it impossible for us to extend our electrical cord. I returned to the office to have us put onto a differen site. Which was the same way, so we just moved to the next site over, as they were not full anyway. Beware of even number sites. That's where the problem is with the location of the electric box. it wasn't too bad, but we will not return. Grassy sites.

Very nice park. Streams and walking trails. bathrooms were clean and taken care of. The only downside is that there is only one bath house for the whole campground. We loved it there. Nice and wooded. We will go back there.

We have camped at a Yogi Bear Jellystone park before and really loved it. So, we gave this campground a try. When we got here, we had just about the worst site in the whole campground. It was nothing but sand with only one small tree on it. The road was gravel and hard to ride your bike on. Kids were everywhere. The site next to us had trash scattered everywhere. That night it was very noisy. I had to tell the people behind us, to please keep their music down, as it was quiet time. The next day my daughter wanted to go to "practice your hula dancing." It was Hawaiian Weekend. That consisted of maybe half a dozen of small girls doing some hula dancing in front of some young staff for 1 minute to receive a sticker. That was it. So we went to check on the train ride that you can take. We found out, that only happens at noon. No posting of that anywhere. Later on we went to the fun park area to go on the bumper boats: that stops at 5 pm. Again, nothing posted on that either. The shower area is clean, but you had to push a button to receive some semi-warm water the thickness of a ladies thumb for maybe one minute. Not too impressed with that. Needless to say, I took a shower in the trailer the following day. Kids are everywhere, mostly unsupervised. Even after dark. My daughter and I had to go to the ranger station just before 10 PM and almost got hit by a kid on a bike. Unsupervised dogs were left tied up at the campsite across from ours. First time I went to tell the office, nothing was done about it. My young daughter had to keep giving those poor animals water several times. The second time I went to complain (just before 10 PM) something was done about it. They tried to call the campers: no result. But a letter from management was left at the site. Next day these campers gave us dirty looks after my daughter asked if they were the owners of the dogs. There was some nicer areas with grass. Seasonals were nicely landscaped. We will probably not come back here.

Very nice park. Sandy ground. But that was ok. Very friendly staff. Lots of activities. Love the candy bar bingo. Plenty of stuff to do for the family. Would definitely come back here.
