The Red Barn Rendezvous, Edwardsville, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

If you find yourself in the St. Louis area, stay here, you will not be disappointed. Very well maintained private campground with great curb appeal. Minimal highway noise did not create an issue. Entry and exit roads easy to navigate. Large and level pull through sites are packed gravel with neatly trimmed grass. Utilities worked well and were conveniently placed. Beautiful landscaping throughout the park. We will stay here again. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Fifth Wheel.

Three Springs RV Campground, Rolla, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The Good: $22 full hookup, good water pressure, electric, and sewer connections in proper location. Pull through sites. The Bad: Highway noise, had to run A/C fan motor to create white noise in bedroom to sleep. Some overhanging tree limbs brushed the top and sides of our RV while leaving our spot. The Ugly: Old and damaged RV's are apparently allowed to stay in the park. Many large propane tanks indicating folks living in the park, which in itself is not a big deal, however, when these folks let their large dogs run free, well it's just rude. I would not stay here again. We camped at Three Springs RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

A-AAA Adult RV Park, Newcastle, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 1 week. The weekly rate is $95 and includes 27Kwh of electric per day (in the summer). Great water pressure and electric service. This is a quite park, except some light highway noise that did not disturb the peaceful feeling this park has. There are no barking dogs, screaming kids (adult only park), no disturbing neighbors partying, playing loud music, and such. The owners of the park also manage it and this makes a big difference in the park's appeal. Sites are adequately spaced and arranged so you are not looking at your neighbors sewer hose. My wife and I full time RV and will stay here again. We camped at A-AAA Adult RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
