Eagle Ridge RV Park, Eagleville, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here in the past and will come back again every time we pass through. Owners are on site and escorted us to our site. He checked to make sure all utilities functioned correctly before he left. Our site was considerably longer than our 43 foot RV with toad attached. We used the laundry facilities this time and both the washing machines and dryers were clean and worked perfectly. One dollar a load to wash and one dollar to dry. There are trees adjacent to the long pull thru sites but I was easily able to connect to Dish Network. They have a very nice pool and the water is sparkling clean. Nice, quiet campground in a peaceful country setting. We camped at Eagle Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Eagle Ridge RV Park, Eagleville, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Owner lives on site and was there to welcome us. Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Escorted to our site which was easy to get into. They have 4 very long and level big rig pull through sites. There are beautiful shade trees on these sites which makes sitting outside very nice in the evening. Unable to use our satellite dish and no TV reception, which is to be expected. You are out in the country and there are shade trees! They offer TV in the Laundry area with comfortable couches available. Very nice pool area and the pool was sparkling clean. Everything is clean and well maintained. The utilities and wifi all worked perfectly. We have been full timers for 7 years and this is one of the nicest parks we have stayed in. We camped here in a 42 foot motorhome. We would definitely stay here again when passing through. We camped at Eagle Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shady Acres RV Park & Campground, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 3 nights. Interior roads and site are gravel. Easy to navigate our 42 foot coach and toad around. Sites are plenty wide enough and we'll spaced. All utilities worked as expected including WiFi. Very convenient to Arches and Canyon Lands. Staff was friendly and helpful with information. I would recommend this park and stay here again. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Dakota Ridge RV Park, Golden, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

The interior roads are blacktop and the RV pad is concrete. The bad news is that in the entire park there are at best 6 level sites. We saw motor homes with their front wheels 6 to 9 inches in the air. Once parked I almost needed a step ladder to get in the door because the lot sloped away from the concrete pad. We pulled the picnic table over to use as a step. No cable TV and only fair Internet. Surprising because I was 25 feet away from a WiFi antenna. If you have a need to stay in Golden it is the only game in town. Overpriced for what you get. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Had difficulty getting level. Had to reposition several times to get jacked up and not get an "excess slope" warning. Had to unhook the car to get into this pull thru due to obstacles. Free WiFi is a joke because it kicked me off after 5 minutes and I was not able to reconnect for 2 days. No cable TV and no over the air TV. Too many trees for satellite so no TV for 2 nights. Not much value for $48. There are other parks nearby that are more reasonably priced. I would not stay here again. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for an out of the way place to stay away from it all and have any interest in fishing this is the place. If you came to visit Yellowstone Park then I would recommend one of the parks in town. Most of what the other reviews have noted about the park are true. Very nice setting, pleasant and friendly staff, etc, etc. The WiFi is weak and no cable. Verizon signal is also weak which is expected given the location of the park. They deliberately did not post any pictures of the park online and their park map gives the appearance of a large resort which it definitely is not. Sites are okay but other parks in the area are just as nice and much closer to YNP. I would not camp here again if returning to the area. We camped at Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina in a Motorhome.

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice RV Park for a short stay to visit friends who live in Lodi. The sites have long pull-thrus, We could have left the car hooked to our 42’ coach with no problem. Wide enough for all slide-outs. Excellent cable and pretty good WiFi (as previously mentioned it can get a bit slow in the evening). Staff is friendly and helpful. Propane on site. Access is just off I-5, north of Stockton, at Hwy-12. Full service travel stops all around and any kind of shopping you need in Lodi about 5 miles way. They had a special going on, pay for 2 nights and get one free. Stayed for 6 nights @ $36 a night. We will stay here again. As a previous reviewer noted, if you take away the pool, the nicely laid out park with long level concrete pull through spaces, the WiFi and cable, wide paved streets in a clean, well maintained park, conveniently located to the interstate, services, shopping and etc., you might just as well dry camp at Walmart. That’s not how we roll! We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Trade Winds RV Park of Vallejo, Vallejo, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We chose this park so we could get on the ferry shuttle to go into San Francisco. The ferry landing is 3 miles away. The park is old and could use some maintenance. The sites are very tight but we were able to maneuver our 42 foot coach into a space and open our slide outs. We were, however, very close to our neighbors. The sites are fairly level with good hook up location. If using the Internet, you have a one hour use free each day. You can purchase additional time in the office. We chose to use our Verizon internet service which worked well here. The office staff and host were very helpful. The front section is for overnight stay guests with long term sites in the back. Many RV's appear to have been there for a very long time. Park is adjacent to the freeway and an old mobile home park. Not in a desirable section of town!! Now for the bad news. This is a high crime area and the manager and park host admitted they had lots of trouble with vandals. Our car was broken into and numerous items stolen. Since one of the items taken was a hidden spare set of keys to the RV we decided to leave the park immediately. The park manager was very willing to refund our last two days fee. I would strongly advise folks to avoid this park! We camped at Trade Winds RV Park of Vallejo in a Motorhome.

Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

It appears to be a very well maintained park. Staff were very friendly both on the phone for a reservation and at check-in. We were escorted to out site. The escort noted that there was a tree branch that might touch our coach if it was windy. Before we finished our setup two workers came by and trimmed the branch over top of our slide room. The sites are nicely laid out with perfectly level concrete pads, nice artificial grass patio with picnic table. Cable TV worked well and they were doing an upgrade to the WiFi during our 6 night stay. Worked very well! The park is one half mile from a new outlet center and lots of shopping close by. Reno is about 5 minutes away and has lots to offer. We have a 2012 42 foot RV and easily maneuvered around on the streets with the car attached. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sun & Fun RV Park, Tulare, California

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects Passport America. Arrived in the early afternoon and met by the manager. We had a reservation for a pull through site but after hours the night before someone had taken the spot. The manager found us a spot that was a back-in that we just fit into but worked for our three day stay. She apologized for the problem and did not charge us for the three day stay. The concrete pads are level and hook-ups located conveniently. The streets are wide enough for a big rig and made backing in fairly easy. As others have mentioned, the RR tracks are near the park and the trains do go through at night. We were not bothered by this as we felt the noise was minimal from the RR and freeway. It is an easy drive to Sequoia National Park and shopping in Visalia. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Sun & Fun RV Park in a Motorhome.
