Mason County Campground, Ludington, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

NICE county park, offering sites with 50 amp FHU and 30 amp only. Dump station and drinking water available at the entrance. All sites are back-in and a number of them can accommodate big rigs. The park offers shaded as well as full sun sites, and all are a dirt/gravel pad. The park has free wifi, some of the best we've come across. The shower/bath house is in the middle of the park and is very clean. There are four cabins for rent, as well as a playground, disc golf putting green and a picnic pavilion. A one mile walking trail leads to an RC Airfield, as well as a disc golf course. The staff is GREAT, friendly and accommodating. Ludington is a charming town with a variety of shops, restaurants, beaches and parks. After spending six weeks here this summer, I have no doubt we will return. June and August 2015. We camped at Mason County Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tiki RV Park & Campground, Saint Ignace, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park off of the main street running through St. Ignace. They have full hook-ups, as well as WE only, and tent sites. Back in and pull thru are available, along with a dump, and shady or sunny sites. Some of the sites are on grass, while others are gravel. We have a 42 ft fifth wheel/TH and were able to level and maneuver around the park. They have WiFi, a bathhouse, and a clean laundry room, and are pet friendly. It is run by a nice older couple (he and she don't always know what the other one has said, but didn't find this to frustrating...i.e. site and price discrepancies). If we are in this area again, we would not hesitate to return. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tolsona Wilderness Campground , Glennallen, Alaska

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This was the first campground that reminded us of a state park down in Texas. The sites were all on the creek and the creek was accessible to the dogs (big plus). The couple running the park are a gem. We stayed here for three nights and would return without a doubt! We camped at Tolsona Wilderness Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Discovery Yukon Lodgings, White River, Yukon

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Great park, with a large area for our dogs to run and play. The owner and staff were very nice and accommodating. They had a campground campfire that everyone could enjoy, which was a first for us and very nice. We camped at Discovery Yukon Lodgings in a Fifth Wheel.
