Was pleasantly surprised when we pulled into this RV park. So glad we had made reservations ahead of time as they filled up quickly. Very clean, lots to explore and very friendly service. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bear Den RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park), La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

After a poor experience when trying to check into another RV Park in La Grande, we pulled this RV Park on the GPS and we are so glad we did. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The campground is pristine. and to top it off we got to take a swim after a long traveling trip to get here. The showers are clean & new and there is lots to do! If we are ever back in this area we will make it a point to return here. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We stopped into town for an AMAZING burger @ Mamacitas. A lil pricey for a burger, but worth it!

La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort, La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

After leaving Washington in the early am we pulled into this RV park about 3 in the afternoon. There is a sign on the small registration building that says you can only check in until 10 in the morning or after 5 at night. HOWEVER, there is a phone # you can call if you arrive at this park between 10am-5pm.....BUT the person never answers their cell phone AND their voice mail box is full...so basically you are SOL unless you have a few hours to wait...IF they even show up on time. What a POOR way to run a campground. looks like they have a lot of full time renters so they probably don't really care. But lucky us looked up another park about 5 miles away on the GPS and it turned out to be amazing! I will never attempt to stay at this RV Park again and hope some of you appreciate the heads up. We camped at La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Oregon Trail Campground, Twin Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This was a really cute little park. The customer service was A++. We found the spaces to be a little too tight together is the only reason we probably won't go back. But the park seemed quiet, nice and shady, a great playground spot for the kids, and customer service was great. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lava Spa Motel & RV, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly office staff. This town does have a train that runs through quite often and there is really no getting away from it. The train seemed noisier on Sunday night, though. Right across the street from the hot pools and a small park our toddler loved real close by as well. We were in campsite 7 which was a nice corner lot, but a lot of foot traffic using a path to the hot pools. A family of geese walked through camp every morning which was great to see. Campsites would be kind crowded if we went later during the summer I'm sure. We camped at Lava Spa Motel & RV in a Travel Trailer.
