Chinook Bend RV Resort, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Kind of a weird campground. Would not call it a resort, that is for sure, but it is a pretty place down on the river, and it was quiet and the spots were wide enough for a big rig. The owners and staff were very nice and made ya feel at home and they have a nice store with a lot of fishing stuff and groceries, beer etc.

The negatives are there are quite a few run down ratty trailers that are full time residents. That is not a good look and I do not think there is any rules and regs like leash law etc. There were dogs running around all over. But all and all a pretty cool "rustic" campground and great for fishermen with a boat ramp on site. We camped at Chinook Bend RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pleasant Valley RV Park, Tillamook, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is really a nice quiet park with a lot of acreage, nice clubhouse, store with wine/beer etc... Well kept grounds. The only thing keeping me from rating it higher is if you have a big rig with a lot of slides: NOT GOOD, real close together and your slides will barely make it out. But hey, nice park for a few days and close to Tillamook We camped at Pleasant Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We just love it here! Right on the river, all grass sites, great hosts, QUIET!!! The owners really keep this place nice and all for just 12 bucks with our RPI membership. We will be back again. Only negative thing is it is hard to get a satelliteTV signal, but they have cable. We camped at Klamath River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino), Verdi, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Nice resort next to the casino, long pull-throughs, real pretty scenery around resort, lots of space between sites. The only thing not so good is some road noise from Highway 80 nearby and the people at the check-in desk were grumpy and seemed flustered and not happy with their job. But overall a nice resort and we would come back We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino) in a Fifth Wheel.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

For being in the middle of the city (the not so good part) I did not expect much, but pretty darn nice resort. A huge resort, very nice staff, nice sites with plenty of room. and good location to visit the sites in Salt Lake. I would come again if I was passing through. One weird thing though I have never heard so many helicopters at night! But still slept well. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Antelope Valley RV Park, Delta, Utah

Overall Rating:

Decent park, clean, nice staff, and good space between rigs. It is a good park for a stop over as we were heading to Zion. RPI rate was 10 bucks. There is not much to do in Delta unless you are a ATVer We camped at Antelope Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
