Woodland Shores RV Park, Woodland, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very tight spaces. I couldn't extend my awning if another RV was next to me. Tiny patch of grass in each space. Very strict about pets. Not allowed to walk them around the park. Only a tiny area to walk them, and the adjacent area past a chain link fence, under a bridge to a field. They specifically not to allow them to urinate on grass, flowers, etc. The couple that run the park seem to completely emphasize the rules over the fun, from the time I arrived to check in, and appear to watch over it on closed circuit cameras all the time. I set down a bag of recycling since I couldn't find any recycling bins and before I had a chance to go ask them where to put it they were out drilling me with questions about it. Frankly it started to feel a bit like a police state. The wifi is not free, but charge by the night. I didn't pay for it so I can't speak to the quality there. Otherwise the park is very clean all around. I doubt I'd stay here again. We camped at Woodland Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lone Fir Resort, Cougar, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very quaint and rare resort, from my experience. It has RV spaces, tent spaces, and also cabins, a small hotel type building, an on site restaurant and gift shop, pool, club house and more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The RV spaces are not paved, but seem pretty level. They are spacious with a picnic table, fir pit, and BBQ. The resort is near to some great hiking and Mt St Helens attractions as well, and the tiny town of Cougar WA is within walking distance with things to see and do. I'd definitely recommend this resort to those exploring the area. We camped at Lone Fir Resort in a Motorhome.

Beachside RV Park, Blaine, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Best thing here is the location. Very close to the beach (tho no easy access to the beach). Very near to Birch Bay restaurants, shops, attractions. Spaces are rather tight and our space was grass, though fairly level. Park Managers were very helpful and nice. Many residents at this park, but not an issue for us. I'd certainly consider staying there again. We camped at Beachside RV Park in a Motorhome.
