In addition to our site fee we paid $8 for on-line reservation service. This was the 4th OR SP we stayed in on our trip and can't say enough good things about OR and their eagerness to have people visit their state. The park was clean; site was spacious, paved, and level. Picnic table and fire ring at each site. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here 3 nights and paid an additional one time fee of $8 for using the on-line reservation service. With full hook-ups; cable; picnic table; paved/level coach site; fire ring and spacious, private sites...this is a bargain and then some. Thank you OR State! The bad part of our stay was that it rained the whole time so we were very happy about the cable. They do a good job at recycling and even have trash compactors for garbage. Lincoln City and beach access are walking distance from the park. Was so impressed that they charge only $6/night for hikers and/or cyclists. So welcoming to all who want to enjoy the beautify of the OR coast.

We'd heard a lot of good things about OR State Parks Campgrounds and we're not disappointed. Coach site was paved and level and each site had a picnic table. We were able to put our dog pen on the site since we don't tow and the pad was very roomy. We're amazed to see very nice showers and even a laundry room...in a State Park! We had made on-line reservations so there was an additional $8 reservation fee but it still made the total price of $36 well worth it. Thank you OR!

Beautiful park! We had a back-in spot across from the flower garden and bird sanctuary. River was behind us with a well kept grassy area between. Concrete pads (the whole site) meaning coach parking/toad parking/patio area. Sewer hook-up was way to the front of the coach instead of back with the water and elec. Had to buy a $5 rubber fumes ring at check-in since the county has strict rules and the sewer connectors do not have ability to screw in normal RV sewer connectors. No enclosed dog area but a very long, grassy area along the river to walk. Mgmt very fussy about what you put outside your coach! Only a table and chairs...not even a cooler. No picnic tables. We did not use the showers but checked them out and were very impressed. There were 3 (or 4) full bathrooms with toilet/sink/shower in the building that housed the laundry in the lower park area. Beautifully tiled, modern, clean bathrooms. Whole park shows pride of ownership. Especially enjoyed the song birds in the sanctuary with our morning coffee. Tricky getting into the park. Our GPS lead us to make a U-turn which is illegal in the state of OR so beware. We would (and will) stay here again.

Lovely park with tables at each site; paved coach site; lots of Redwood trees; clean laundry room with working machines; friendly staff; nice store with basic food stuff, RV supplies, and souvenirs. Appears that keeping the Redwood debris in check is a problem since our site was covered with needles and we had to sweep out our site before putting out our chairs. We were give a very short pull-thru since our coach is 24' and we weren't towing. Would have been nice to have a bit larger spot so we could put our dog pen on pavement rather than the grass. Spacious pet area but it isn't fenced so we were unable to let our dogs off leash. That was a disappointment. Cable was great. Even had digital channels which came in great on our hi-def TV. It's a bit on the pricey side, especially since the $50 reflects our Good Sam Discount. We would stay here again but probably not for longer than 1 night because of the cost.

We stayed here overnight. Site was a small pull-thru but adequate for our 24' motorhome. Small grassy area next to the paved coach pad. Picnic table and some shade. Coffee and sweets in the morning; nice store; friendly staff; clean enclosed dog run. Temp was over 90 degrees so we stayed indoors. Cable was appreciated. We would stay here again.

Our experience started on a Wed. afternoon at 2:55 p.m. when I called to book a reserve. for 3 days ahead and got Voice Mail. After waiting through very long message, left my call-back number. Still no call-back by 4:40 so called again and got Voice Mail left another message. Next morning got a call back with no comment at all about the delay in calling me back. Booked 1 night. Turning off Hwy 101 to Asti Rd took us through lovely vineyards then came the challenge. Very, very steep climb up a narrow, winding road with not enough room for 2 vehicles to pass each other. About 1/4 mile from entrance there was a sign saying "Don't despair, you're almost there". That should tell you something. Got to office at 2:30 and our reserve. was already posted on the door like office was about to close (3:00 I'm guessing). Were given a site that a car could barely fit in, much less our 24' motorhome. Had to get a different site because it was a pull-in (not pull-thru). Needed to use leveling blocks but were unable to use them at this site due to a 10 ft drop into a ditch in front of us. Switched to site 59 so we could park cross ways and overlapped space behind us and stuck out in driveway to tent sites. Sad part is that the facilities look very nice, lovely fish pond, lots of cabins and tent sites, lovely views but if you are an RVer...stay away! My first mistake was assuming that the price would be comparable to other KOA's we stayed in with our discount. That being $36. But $65...you've got to be kidding!!

Nice park easy on/off Hwy 40. Site locations a bit confusing. Escort takes you to your site...good thing. Large, fenced, grassy dog area. Indoor pool and spa. Nice restrooms and showers. We would stay here again.

Gorgeous park between 2 mountain ranges. Staff very friendly. Level sites. Huge dog park in the process of being fenced. Concrete patio sites with table. Charcoal grills at sites and fire rings. Fire hose stations around park. Well stocked store. Clean, well maintained restrooms and showers. Gets a bit windy late afternoon but that's a small price to pay for all the rest. Make sure to reserve a spot. While registering, one rig was turned away because park was full. We'll definitely stay here again.

Sites nowhere level. Dog "run" extremely small. Only smallest of dog could actually run. Lots of aggressive sounding signage using lots of "!!!" marks following rule. Signage could have softer sound and still get the point across. They do not sell ice. Was told to get ice from Chevron store which was about 1-1/2 blocks away. We don't tow so the walk there in 100 degree temps did not make us happy campers. We'll look for alternative parks on our next trip to Kingman.
