Chicago Northwest KOA, Union, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. We've been here several times in the past and have always enjoyed it. Sites are a little close to each other and there are lots of trees so satellite was hard to get the signal. Wi-Fi was slow and also hard to keep the signal. A little costly for one night but in line with all the campgrounds here in Illinois. I would stay here again. We camped at Chicago Northwest KOA in a Travel Trailer.

O'Connell's Yogi Bear Jellystone Park, Amboy, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park for the grandkids. They have such a good time here. We have been coming here for years. They used to have WI-FI so I had to use an aircard. Satellite reception was great. The area we stay in has no defined parking spaces so you just park on the grass next to the utilities (although it was quite level). Several pools and lots for the kids to do here. We will definitely come back again and again. We camped at O'Connell's Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great Escape RV Park & Campground, Higginsville, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

GPS had us make a wrong turn (campground is on west side of Highway 13 (Exit 49 off I-70) so don't make that left turn towards Super 8 Motel). Glad we stopped. Despite being close to I-70 it was surprisingly quiet. Our site was level and hook-ups were perfectly situated. WI-FI reception was excellent. Campground staff was very friendly and helpful. The park is well maintained and the view of the ponds in the back is beautiful. The pool area is large with a beautiful composite wood deck area with a pergola. They just put in a large fenced dog park too. Even though the park is a little farther away from Kansas City than some other parks, we will definitely stay here again. It was worth the drive. We camped at Great Escape RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground, Yuma, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We pulled into the park after 9 pm (due to problems on the road) where we were met by a very nice man and escorted to our site. What a nice setup they have and the sites are surprisingly large. The site was level with a really nice concrete patio and wood deck area. The sites are offset so nobody is right next you. Really good WiFi reception and cable TV hookup. Quiet and very relaxing. We stayed for 10 days while playing the tourist in Memphis and Nashville. Nice pool, grounds, and a great campground staff. I would highly recommend this campground. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.
