Shady Acres RV & Camping Park, Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The bathrooms are disgusting, the same bulk of black hair stayed in the shower stall for the time I was there, which was a week. One weekend I could not access the bathroom because of the door code had locked. Well yes there is a manager on site but you can't ask her for anything after her hours she works which are 9am-3 pm. But she does spend lots of time at the pool drinking and talking about others along with other residents. Agreed very unprofessional but that is what Shady Acres likes. Maintenance is very good if you should need anything. Residents are very friendly and eager to help with whatever you might need. Laundry is new. Trash area has lots of wild life around it. There is also a rat infestation in the resort beware. We camped at Shady Acres RV & Camping Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Myers Beach RV Resort, Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

There is poor customer service here. Stay away. The pool shuts down, early the bathrooms are outdated, and there is mouse poop in the women's bathroom that has been there during my whole stay there. The site's power are a 30/50 amp but none of them work correctly. The sites are small, and there are very narrow roads. They do not have any music playing at the pool. The activity hall is locked and residents and guest do not have access to it. They neglect to give you the codes to the bathroom. They require a color band to access the pool area but again neglect to give you a band. Which in theory you are not able to be in the pool area. They say they offer Wi-Fi; it never works and they encourage you to buy TengoInternet. I watched the so called manager raise his voice to residents. If you have mail go here, good luck. There is always someone else's mail in your mailbox, which questions am I getting all of my mail? Cable is also included but at many sites the cable boxes are not working, so cable wires run across the roads on the pavement. On a good note the laundry room was good. Terrible place to stay. Then they over charge you for your electricity. We camped at Fort Myers Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.
