Cobourg East Campground, Grafton, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet campground with very large sites. Some really beautiful seasonal sites. Lots of grassy open spaces, very well kept grounds. We had a pull thru site with at least 30 feet between us and our neighbors. Nice pool but boy was it cool, very refreshing though. We camped at Cobourg East Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very cramped, had to move my 5th wheel so guy next to me could open his pop outs. Very tight sites, not worth the $78. Pool is on the small size and the bathrooms are outdated. Would not stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are using a mid to large size RV DO NOT ask to be near the water, they are packed in like sardines and access is a very dusty road. Stay in the "C" series sites which are spacious. Access to the lake is not easy and there is no beach to speak of.

Wapiti Campground (Parks Canada), Jasper National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Had reservations so no issue getting in, was disturbed to see vacant sites each night when they insist the camp site is full, understand people booking and then being a no show, campers shoved into the overflow should be allowed into the vacant sites. Parks canada should have a cut-off time . We camped at Wapiti Campground (Parks Canada) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

For 2018 Parks Canada will be closing Whistler Campground for a complete renovation, 780 sites will be off the books for the summer. There is no plan B so if you want to visit Jasper in 2018 plan carefully and early.

Have great wash-rooms and showers, small store that just about provides everything you might need, if not avail Hinton is a 15 minutes drive away and the town has everything. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. For people with dogs there is a dog run and a games room and outdoor swings etc for kids. They also offer rental of small cottages and log cabins.

As mentioned in previous reviews this is a new campground, opened in 2011 so the trees are on the small side. Beautiful lawns, spotless bathrooms and shower facilities along with a lovely pool. Rambler's Rest RV, Venice, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a month, mid Feb to Mid Mar so had to estimate the daily cost. Excellent front entrance and pool area. Rumour is the pool and office are new. 650 sites of which half are permanent units (half of those have full time residents). Some very nice sites and as always some not so nice sites. Campground was established many years ago so roads are narrow, some sites very cramped, infrastructure needs updating, my 30 amp electrical panel fell apart when I attempted to plug in. They had a blackwater handling equipment on site and there are some RV sites very near so if you are fortunate to get a site nearby, you get to listen to the pumps running all night and get to smell the sewage. Has lots of activities to keep one busy, very close to Venice. Our site was very tight, had to park our truck across the street. Would I return next year - don't think so. We camped at Rambler's Rest RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls, Brandon, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very easy access from the highway. All RV sites are pull-through with lots of room between sites. Very large facility. Some of the amenities were closed down as they were getting towards the end of the season. We stayed the 2nd week of September. When in the area go visit Sioux Falls Park, very nice. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Fifth Wheel.

River Park Campground, Menominee, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campground run by the city. All pull-through sites are paved with large grass areas for your use with picnic table. The washrooms and showers are the best we have come across. Showers are free. Campground is right next to the river and better yet, within a block you have a grocery store, Ace Hardware, and Chinese food take out - try the Sesame Chicken. We camped at River Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Peaceful Valley Campsites, Le Sueur, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

New owners now have the campground, purchased it a little over a year ago. Very gracious hosts who provided all the info we needed of the local area. Nice peaceful campground situated in a small valley and surrounded by some very old trees. Would recommend this site if you are in the Le Sueur area. We camped at Peaceful Valley Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

Rainbow Valley Campground, Edmonton, Alberta

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is very dated but acceptable. You will have to back out of the dump station. Fresh water tap is on the wall of the washroom facility but is not properly labeled. Faucet has to be held on the open position when filling ones tank. If using a GPS, DO NOT ENTER their street address, you will end up in a residential area with narrow streets. Enter 1 Royal Way which will get you are the end of the road going down to the campsite. Campsite sign is across the street from 1 Royal Way. Wi-Fi is available, but at a cost. We camped at Rainbow Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Whistlers Campground (Parks Canada), Jasper National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very spacious sites. If you require full hook-ups, book well in advance. The only negative, there is only one shower facility available, which is situated on the north end of the campground. As with all things Federal, budget cuts are now obvious; the level of service and maintenance is in decline. We camped at Whistlers Campground (Parks Canada) in a Fifth Wheel.
