Stayed here for a month, mid Feb to Mid Mar so had to estimate the daily cost. Excellent front entrance and pool area. Rumour is the pool and office are new. 650 sites of which half are permanent units (half of those have full time residents). Some very nice sites and as always some not so nice sites. Campground was established many years ago so roads are narrow, some sites very cramped, infrastructure needs updating, my 30 amp electrical panel fell apart when I attempted to plug in. They had a blackwater handling equipment on site and there are some RV sites very near so if you are fortunate to get a site nearby, you get to listen to the pumps running all night and get to smell the sewage. Has lots of activities to keep one busy, very close to Venice. Our site was very tight, had to park our truck across the street. Would I return next year - don't think so.

Date of Stay:

Very easy access from the highway. All RV sites are pull-through with lots of room between sites. Very large facility. Some of the amenities were closed down as they were getting towards the end of the season. We stayed the 2nd week of September. When in the area go visit Sioux Falls Park, very nice.

This is a great campground run by the city. All pull-through sites are paved with large grass areas for your use with picnic table. The washrooms and showers are the best we have come across. Showers are free. Campground is right next to the river and better yet, within a block you have a grocery store, Ace Hardware, and Chinese food take out - try the Sesame Chicken.

New owners now have the campground, purchased it a little over a year ago. Very gracious hosts who provided all the info we needed of the local area. Nice peaceful campground situated in a small valley and surrounded by some very old trees. Would recommend this site if you are in the Le Sueur area.

Campground is very dated but acceptable. You will have to back out of the dump station. Fresh water tap is on the wall of the washroom facility but is not properly labeled. Faucet has to be held on the open position when filling ones tank. If using a GPS, DO NOT ENTER their street address, you will end up in a residential area with narrow streets. Enter 1 Royal Way which will get you are the end of the road going down to the campsite. Campsite sign is across the street from 1 Royal Way. Wi-Fi is available, but at a cost.

Very spacious sites. If you require full hook-ups, book well in advance. The only negative, there is only one shower facility available, which is situated on the north end of the campground. As with all things Federal, budget cuts are now obvious; the level of service and maintenance is in decline.

This is our 2nd stay at this campground, the first was 10 years ago. Was great then and still the same. They have been improving the sites and added 12 premium full hookup sites with 50 amp service. Lovely campground in the canyon with a crystal clear creek running through the centre of the campground. We had a pull through site, was 30 feet between our 5th wheel and the next RV. Sites are gravel pads, concrete block picnic areas, have many trees and fire pits - wood can be purchased at the office. Nice clean laundry facilities. Love this location, 4kms from Radium Hot Springs. Is a must stop if you are in the area - would recommend reserving.

Stayed two nights. Overall a nice campground. Sites were a little cramped: my neighbour was less than 4 feet off the edge of my awning. Campground had dated but acceptable washrooms and did have a camp kitchen where those camping with tents could go and wash dishes. Campground was pretty close to the CP rail main line, we didn't mind as we like that type of noise but it did not disrupt our sleep. Owners were very helpful and willing to pass on local knowledge. Campground is 2.5 miles from the town centre - we rode our bikes in. If I could give half points would rate this campsite as a 6.5.

Well run campsite, situated between Highway 1 and CN and CP train lines. Did hear some traffic noise but not enough to keep us awake; same with the trains. The drive-through sites were a little tight and small but manageable. Campground has some really nice tent sites, which are pretty close to the highway. Washrooms were dated but very clean and well looked after.

Very clean, short walking distance to the beach and ocean (Harrow Strait). New facilities, very attentive staff.

Lovely campground just outside Comox. New owners took over a couple of years ago and revamped the whole site. Gravel pads with full hookups. I only saw 30 amp service. Brand new pavilion with lovely two sided fireplace that would be great for family events. Kids play gym in lower playground. New shower and bathroom facilities. Full time on site manager - very friendly husband and wife team. New office building that sells treats and a few other things you may have forgotten. Beach is a minute walk away with great views of the Strait of Georgia. Watched cruise ships heading to Vancouver last night.
