Great campground. As promised. Good clean area. helpful staff. Diamond mine is right across. We did not use the river. Hoopkups were effortless. Easy to navigate. We liked it. We camped at Herkimer Diamond KOA in a Motorhome.

Excellent staff. The new owner who is there on site all the time was great. The location is perfect. Better than promised. Cell phones and internet work well. Grounds were clean and maintained. Lots of shopping nearby. Excellent food choices when you do not want to cook. We camped at Saco River Camping Area in a Motorhome.

Cooperstown Shadow Brook Campground, Cooperstown, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This camp is rated as a good one. It was the third camp we visited. It was less than promised. The road was narrow though the staff helped you navigate the narrow roads. Hook ups were fairly far from the usual access locations. We could not hook up to the sewer despite having the standard length connecting hose. Wi-Fi is neither free nor easily available. Cell phone coverage is only verizon. The pond is quite small. It sounds to be in Cooperstown but is a good 20 miles away on a winding road. Would not go there again. We camped at Cooperstown Shadow Brook Campground in a Motorhome.
