We just finished a 6 night stay at the full hook up sites called big pine area. The site was pull through and shaded. Kids had fun fishing, hiking, riding bikes, and swimming in the lake. The lake was family friendly and very clean. Not a ton to do nearby but the park offered a nice tree camping/lake combo. Wished we had a lake view site but they did not have full-hookup. Would recommend the lake view sites if going for a few days as the view was very pretty. Would go back again for a short jaunt to get away from the work grind. Also had to pay $5 per person per day in addition to the camp fee.

Great location near to many wineries and not to far from the main part of town. Overall I would say it was quite pricey for what you get. The sites are not very private and do not have any trees for shade. The kids enjoyed the tractor ride but overall not impressed for the cost.

We went at the end of winter and had a super time. We camped on the interior loop near the river but not riverfront. It was in the woods and we could walk to the river. Nearby playground and open field for playing ball was a big hit with the kids. Also pretty creeks to walk by scenic views of the cliffs along the fork river. Quite a wind comes off the river so not recommended to be riverfront in winter. Had no TV channels and no cell service/WiFi so we were forced to be technology free and enjoy the outdoors. Looked to have lots to do in summer months but most activities were spread out from campsite so would probably have to drive to swim, ride horses etc. We will go back!
