Kenanna RV Park, Grayland, Washington

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great WiFi we were able to watch shows on Netflix. Bathrooms clean. Office nice people Negatives: No cable, charge for shower. I never have paid for shower at an rv park! only state parks. Ok I wouldn't mind but I put in 50 cents in the first shower and no water came out. I had to get dressed and move to next stall. Hot water to the right not left and valves turn in circles. Center sink no hot water in women's room. My husband took a shower and barely luke warm water. Ok if you are going to charge at least make sure they are in good working order. Sites are grassy but too close together you can reach out and touch your neighbors slide out. Also some people living there one trailer had junk all around it. They could make this park nice by fixing plumbing and maybe planting trees for shade and privacy on every other site. Way too close together. Just a thought! We camped at Kenanna RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Yosemite RV Resort, RVC Outdoor Destination (formerly Yosemite South , Coarsegold, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This could be such a great park has so many amenities but really falls short. Mostly it's poorly maintained. The grout in the bathrooms is gross dirty. Really needs a bleach bath. The laundry room really dirty. The TV cable is broken and they have no intentions of repairing. The retro trailers don't even have cable to tv's. We were able to pull in a few channels from our trailer. The Deli shuts down early Oct. The pads are dirt and gravel and very unlevel. Our friends stayed in a 30 ft Airstream which turned out to be an old Fleetwood look a like. Their propane gas ran out at night after office closed. There is no after hours number. We happened to have a portable heater we loaned them otherwise they were going to sleep in their car with the motor running. It was 30 degrees out!!! No hot water as well. They obviously don't check that before they leave so don't rent a trailer in winter. The trail around park is blocked so don't bother. The park is not flat it's on a hill. Don't choose spot near petting farm you will smell manure. To me these are all easy fixes which could take it to the next level! On a positive note close to park, mostly shady. The office people are nice. We camped at Yosemite RV Resort, RVC Outdoor Destination (formerly Yosemite South in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a great little market at the beginning of town of Groveland on Right. Also a pizza cafe excellent. Bring lots of leveling blocks. Don't have site near petting zoo. Don't rent trailer in winter if you run out of propane at night you are SOL. Town of Sonora has Walmart, Safeway, Doctor, vet etc. take pets to Live Oak Vet in Sonora awesome. Groveland Vet has bankers hours.

Heritage RV Park, Corning, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place to spend the night. I give bathroom and showers a 10! Very clean, smelled clean. Great water pressure and hot showers! Best I've seen so far. GPS led us astray so you may not want to follow it. Lot of long term people stay here. Gravel sites. Poor WiFi, very few TV channels. Nice office people. Pool. Barking little dog for hours. Can hear Highway. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Manchester State Park, Port Orchard, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We loved it because it is very wooded, lots of room between sites and privacy with lots of bushes and trees. Only 49 sites. Probably not a good spot for a huge motor home. Too many tree branches not huge sites. 2 tokens for showers. Takes a while to get hot water. We really enjoyed our stay. We camped at Manchester State Park in a Travel Trailer.
