The place looks nice till you start looking closer at it. There was 1 bathroom for 50 people in our area . With 1 toilet and 1 shower that was working in it. There was years of mold on the shower curtains . The flys at this place were massive. The maintenance were notified for 2 days about a problem with the bathrooms at the pool. They never addressed them till they made an announcement that the kids had broken the bathroom. How is it that the kids are to blame for something that was brought to their attention before the kids showed up. The fishing in the lake is a joke. It is off balanced and most bass are 7 inches long . Yes you have a few that are 5 pounds, but they need to redo the lake. It has more stumps in the middle of the lake and I got my boat stuck 3 times in the very center . The pool smelt terrible even on day one. There were condoms floating in it. Their staff made it a point to say he was the personal body guard of someone there with his gun on his hip . It is very unprofessional to do that when there were already tension with that family member. I would not recommend this camp ground to anyone . You have a nicer camping experience at Roosevelt or even jelly stone camping .

This was a nice place but I dropped the rank because the showers on the end we stayed at had broken panels out of the door. The river was very nice. Just bring bug spray. The skeeters were huge.

The staff was very friendly. Bathrooms were always clean. Very pet friendly. Even with our dog tried to eat fish directly in the lake.
