Salina KOA, Salina, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fun older KOA in Kansas. It is across the street from the yesteryear museum which is a nice sunset stroll. It is hot and muggy but our space was nicely shaded by a wall of trees. This is our second stay, this time a short layover. We camped at Salina KOA in a Motorhome.

Fort Collins / Lakeside KOA , Fort Collins, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is the third time we have stayed in this park. One of the best KOA's we have visited. This time we had a 40 foot motor home and a tow. The only problem we have had is that their sewer lines are back a little far for our coach, but workable. We camped at Fort Collins / Lakeside KOA in a Motorhome.

This park is easy to get in and out. Very clean and beautiful setting. The only problem we had was our gps, be sure and take exit 48 off of I-80. We camped at Desert Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park), Baker City, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We just stayed overnight. Our site was under trees, which was quite welcome with the summer breezes. We could hear the train whistle but it was a pleasant distraction, not a problem. Older, established park with mature trees and permanent residents near the road. RVs were to the back. Cute theme styled (old west) buildings. We would stay here again We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

Denver West / Central City KOA, Central City, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Coming out of Denver in summer is a long steep grade so be sure and watch your engine temperature. Once you leave the freeway it is still a long steep grade but definitely worth it. We are in site 5 and the view is breathtaking. We travel with parrots and even they were excited by the bird's eye view. The breeze is wonderful and one of our most exciting overnight stays to date. Too bad we didn't plan a longer stay. We camped at Denver West / Central City KOA in a Motorhome.

Fleming Park/Blue Springs Campground, Blue Springs, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful and quiet location. This is one of three parks in the area. We are on a hill near woods but not near water. We stayed overnight in a 40 foot motorhome. The full hookups were reserved so we had to use dump but it was easy access and well maintained We camped at Fleming Park/Blue Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our overnight stay. This is Kansas. It's and there are mosquitoes but we are under shading cottonwood trees. Across the street from Kansas flywheel museum and this is a nice morning stroll. Staff was helpful. Would like to stay longer. We camped at Salina KOA in a Motorhome.

Very KOA. Cable service was poor. Our site was near the road, so lots of car noise. No problem getting a site. We only stayed overnight so didn't use any amenities. Staff was nice We camped at Twin Falls / Jerome KOA in a Motorhome.
