Florida Caverns State Park, Marianna, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were large and the trees offered privacy. They were not paved, but still level. I was surprised to find sewer hook-ups on the sites. The roads were not easy to maneuver, but the scenery more than made up for the inconvenience. The cave tour was amazing and the swimming hole was absolutely beautiful. There is a 30ft drop off from the dock in the swimming hole so bring tubes for the kids. Our kids loved playing with the fire flies. This is a must see if you are driving through Florida. We camped at Florida Caverns State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lafayette KOA, Scott, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place, well maintained it had two pools. It had internet but it cost $3 extra and it didn't work half the time but when it did it was extremely slow. The staff was very helpful and recommended great restaurants which our family enjoyed. If your looking for some good authentic boudin balls go to Billy's right by the camp entrance. Overall a good place would stay there again. We camped at Lafayette KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Pool was clean and they had a new splash pad. Sites were well maintained and beautiful scenery everywhere with shaded trees. The internet was extremely fast. This place is a hidden gem! Indian Point RV Resort, Gautier, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Great place. If you don't have a reservation they still have room for you. It is in the overflow sections which are concrete pads right by the pool and overlooking the river. They have two pools one which is a very large kiddie pool which goes up to 3ft in depth, our kids loved it. Its about 5 minutes away from a grocery store and other amenities. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We camped at Indian Point RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tallahassee East Campground , Monticello, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Do not stay here. This place should not be called a KOA. The grounds were not maintained and the dirt roads had huge pot holes. The pool was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 6 months. The playground equipment was broken and filthy. The permanent residents were shady looking and we felt uncomfortable leaving our travel trailer. This place was part mobile home park and the permanent structures were in disarray. We should have trusted the other reviews but they were so poor we thought they were true. We camped at Tallahassee East Campground in a Travel Trailer.
