Tucumcari KOA, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Considering the choices in the area, I would put this one as the best. Since it was just an overnight for us, the rate reflects no sewer or cable which we didn't need. Park was clean and the dog walk area while small was lush with grass and trees. In spite of being close to the interstate the noise was not a problem. It looks also like they have installed new playground equipment which looked inviting for kids. We would stay here again if we were in the area. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We camped at Tucumcari KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Delta Ridge RV Park, Inc., Forrest City, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I would rate this a 10, but it had no restrooms, shower or laundry facilities. We did not need these as it was just an overnight stop for us. The noise from the interstate was minimal so we slept well. Stores and restaurants were within walking distance, so this was great for location. The owner was very nice and kept the park well maintained. We would stay here again. We camped at Delta Ridge RV Park, Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.

Travelers Woods, Bernardston, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean and quiet park. The road leading up to the park was a little narrow with low hanging trees, but our 5th wheel did fine and we are just shy of 13 foot tall and 38 foot long. Sites are grassy, spacious and very level. There is very little road noise. I saw a nice playground for kids, though most of the people here seemed to be older. Hosts were very accommodating and escorted us to our site. I would camp here again. We camped at Travelers Woods in a Fifth Wheel.

Great family friendly campground. Our site was large with plenty of foliage around for privacy. Beach is only 1/2mile away. Lots of bike and walk paths. Our site was level and cable tv was good. We camped at Topsail Hill State Preserve in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park. The grounds were well cared for. Sites were level and you were escorted to your site. Great dog run with grass and fencing. We camped here over night. Lots of restaurants to choose from less than 7 miles from the park. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Fifth Wheel.
