Mammoth Mountain RV Park, Mammoth Lakes, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We had trouble with getting a hold of a person by phone to change our arrival date. After several attempts all worked out. We stayed in electric/water asphalt section. We were pleased with our stay. Easy to navigate in and out. We would stay here again. We camped at Mammoth Mountain RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Twin Lakes RV Resort, Bridgeport, California

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 3 nights at the Twin Lakes Resort, campsite 8. Sites back up to each other very closely. Sites not level and no shade, but allowed us to leave the dog in the trailer with a/c. Not bad for the price. Showers and store nearby. Not far from the lake. OK for a couple of days. It fit our needs and we would say again if we are going on day trips that won't allow the dog. We camped at Twin Lakes RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA , Pescadero, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Interesting place. A combo of KOA and camping lodge. We stayed in Coastal Village sites. OK, but grass dead in this section. Sites not level front to back. No Verizon cell and Wi-Fi did not work in Coastal Village loop. It worked at the lodge and restaurant area. About 20 miles north of Santa Cruz. Restaurant on site, but a little on the high end. Not much nearby to eat . Too out of the way for us. We were visiting Santa Cruz boardwalk area. We camped at Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park), Garberville, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

This park recently became a KOA. There is evidence that things are getting better, but there is still a a lot of work to be done. Sites are not level and the place needs to be repaved. Nice pool and water play area for kids. Probably won't stay here again. We camped at Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Medford / Gold Hill KOA, Central Point, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Decent place to stop for the night. Tight turn and pull-through. Sites not paved, but good shade. I expected more from a KOA. We probably wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Medford / Gold Hill KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park. We stopped for one night. Easy to get in and out. Nice check-in. We had a back-in fountain site. Our six-year-old loved the frogs. Plenty of room to back rig in. Site had room for slides and still have a patio. Freeway noise was masked by fountains. We would stay here again if traveling through. Very hot in summer, but a nice pool. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

San Diego Metro KOA, Chula Vista, California

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

This place is perfect for our trips to Sea World and the San Diego area. Easy to find and check in. Check in has been simple and fast. The employees have been friendly and cheerful. The campground is nicely laid out and easy to navigate. Easy to pull into sites and out. Sites are good size with enough space for slides. Both of my slides extend 40 inches. We were able to extend our awning. Long level sites. Great place to camp for families with children. Swimming pool, play ground, air pillows, and other activities were all excellent. Our travel trailer is almost 35 feet long and we had no trouble navigating or parking. This was our fourth time here. We will return. We camped at San Diego Metro KOA in a Travel Trailer.
