Spring Branch RV Park, Spring Branch, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here from the end of November, 2017, until middle February, 2018. The rate is the monthly rate per day. We loved this RV park. Close to everything in the Hill Country and San Antonio. The owners went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. This park has one of the best dog parks we have found. Some traffic noise from Hwy 281. There are not a lot of frills - no pool, few activities, but we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Spring Branch RV Park in a Motorhome.

North Texas Jellystone (formerly Rustic Creek Ranch), Burleson, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Overpriced for what you get, especially in the off season. Woman checking us in was rude. We asked about the discount since it wasn't on the receipt, she said it had been applied. But we are staying Tues - Fri nights and Tues & Wed nights were $10/night higher. She couldn't explain why. All I asked for when making our reservation was a site with a clear view for our satellite dish. We asked her about our assigned site and she said we could get a signal unless there were trees in the way. DUH! We had to move sites, cuz such enough, there were trees over our rig. Will not stay here again. We camped at North Texas Jellystone (formerly Rustic Creek Ranch) in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a gravel pull through site in the 3rd row back from the river. It looks like campers who stay more than a week are put in the last row so views of the river and barges are blocked most of the time. Shorter stay campers were assigned site by the river. Nice grassy areas to walk dogs. Very pet friendly. Wouldn't stay here again unless we could get riverfront site. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

50 amp sites are $5 more than 30 amp sites. We had to move when they put us in a 30 amp sites. Sites are not level at all. Nice shuttle to the casino across the street. Looks like an older park. We had a utility box right outside our door. We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Christmas RV Park, Christmas, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3-1/2 months this past winter. Nice little park close to Orlando and the space coast but out of the traffic. The manager when we first arrived was not pleasant at all but she was replaced and the new manager was great. Lots of activities for snowbirds. Heated pool. Well maintained park. We camped at Christmas RV Park in a Motorhome.

Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground, Cloverdale, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice little RV park up on a hill. The sites are right by the sparkling pool. The camp managers, were the nicest managers we have met. One went above and beyond helping us get a satellite signal with our tailgater. Lots to do and see in the area. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Columbia Riverfront RV Park, Woodland, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful RV park right on the Columbia River. I would have given this park a higher mark, but it is advertised as pet friendly, but I would not consider it really pet friendly. They have a huge grassy area by the river but they were watering it everyday during the day. The lady at the desk when we checked in gave us a hard time about getting there at 11:55. She told us next time to remember that check in is After 12:00 noon. She was efficient but not very friendly. The campers at this park who were just staying a short time were very friendly, the longer term campers, not so much. They are Very strict on their rules, for most things. Although, I did see some clutter around sites and even a clothes line hanging from 2 RVs which was against their rules. I don't think we would return. We camped at Columbia Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Travis AFB FamCamp (Military FamCamp), Travis AFB, California

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is like 2 different parks in one. One area, which is really nice, is for campers without pets. The 2nd area, for campers with pets, is not so nice. WiFi was so weak we couldn't connect. Very close to BX complex and commissary and the Base hospital. We would stay again but now know which spaces to ask for since we have a small dog. We camped at Travis AFB FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Lemoore Naval Air Station Campground (Military FamCamp), Lemoore NAS, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here quite often since our kids are living on base. It is not much more than a paved parking lot, but if you have a dog or dogs, it is great. There is a huge dog park right next to the FamCamp and our dog loves it there. The camp is within walking distance to the base movie theater and bowling center. There is also a nice brew pub within walking distance. We camped at Lemoore Naval Air Station Campground (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.
