Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown, Williamsport, Maryland

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

Ok this place is seriously under rated! When I arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time I was charged an EARLY Check In Fee...which I reluctantly paid. Once I drove through the park to my site I was very surprised at the layout, the cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff. This campground had as much or as little as you or your family wanted to do from the choice of 2 pools, a water park, zip lining, a FULLY stocked and reasonably priced camp store plus lots of interaction with Yogi, Boo Boo and Ranger Rick. We will defimetly come back here again and I will read the fine print in the reservation agreement especially when it comes to early check in. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.

North Landing Beach Riverfront Campground and Resort, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

WOW! The owners and managers have invested a lot of time and effort into upgrading this park. The power pedestals are all new and easy to see. The bathhouses are all nice, clean and new. Even on a BUSY weekend when every site was filled the bathhouses and other facilities were clean. They had lots to do for kids and adults. The staff that they hired are all super friendly and helpful. We camped at North Landing Beach Riverfront Campground and Resort in a Motorhome.

Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Just a friendly piece of advice! Book early!! We decided to spend Fathers Day at the Sweetest Place on earth and I booked my site 2-weeks earlier. The only spots available were not full hook ups and were more suited for smaller units. When we arrived we were greeted by a chipper park employee who quickly processed our reservation and gave us directions to our site. Our site was long enough and wide enough accommodate a 45 foot unit. The access road was wide enough for me to easily back in without encountering any obstacles. We camped at Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Super Friendly Staff! When we arrived on the Friday before Memorial Day we were greeted by 3 staff members who quickly processed our reservation and gave us directions to our site. When we had minor issues with our original site they quickly bent over backwards to accommodate us. Throughout our stay we have seen the staff and management driving around and they are always friendly. We will be back! We camped at Treasure Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Belle Isle State Park Campground, Lancaster, Virginia

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

From a State Park perspective this place is awesome. Lots of clearly marked trails to hike, beachfront access (we didn't find out this fact until we read the trail map on the last night). From a campers perspective this place is perfect. The road in out and around the campground was WIDE, clean and clearly marked. The campground was immaculate, the bathhouses and showers were clean, the camping spots were WIDE and level. The campground host was super friendly and helpful to everyone in the campground. The sites were not full hook-up only electricity and water. There were lots of clearly marked trails. We camped at Belle Isle State Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Hubbard Haven Family Campground, Hubbard, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Super friendly staff/owner. The facilities were OK basic showers and restrooms.

This park has a lot of semi permanent residents who don't keep their sites the cleanest. The person who was in my site prior left pieces of lumber, flip flop and bits of trash everywhere.

Given the fact that the owner was super friendly I would stay here again. We camped at Hubbard Haven Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Mosquito Lake State Park, Cortland, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Mosquito Lake Campground is a beautiful park situated around Mosquito Lake near Youngstown, Ohio.
A few notes:
Make sure you are camping in a self contained unit as the bathrooms are latrines and the showers are non existent. But hey for the price it's ok.

Most sites have 30/50 amp service. No sites have water or sewer hookups. We camped at Mosquito Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

North Landing Beach Riverfront Campground and Resort, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

The park is under major construction which will add additional sites and amenities. When we stayed we did encounter a little bit of construction traffic but everyone was friendly and accommodating.
The sites were wide and left you room to easily park your RV and set up to enjoy the outdoors.
The campground has it's own beach/waterfront area which is immaculate. We camped at North Landing Beach Riverfront Campground and Resort in a Motorhome.

Black Forest Family Camping Resort, Cedar Mountain, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The park is well laid out. You don't feel like you are crammed in next to your neighbor. There are plenty of spots for every type of camping equipment (tent to large RV).

The owners are on site, VERY friendly. helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

The facilities are clean and well kept.

The only downside is that I couldn't find a spot with 50 amp service (oh well...1st world camping problems). We camped at Black Forest Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Apache Family Campground & Pier, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Very crowded park; especially, if you are next to a site that has a long 5th Wheel and 2 pick up trucks. People smoke everywhere. On the beach, in their campsite, in and around their pool. Just be ready to make adjustments if you are not a fan of cigarette smoke.

The campground itself is OK. Not sure if it was the wind or the mass amount of people but there was trash (plastic bottles, wrappers..etc) everywhere. We camped at Apache Family Campground & Pier in a Motorhome.

Lake Norman Motor Coach Resort, Sherrills Ford, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Lake Norman RV Resort. is a hidden Gem.

Once you pull down the hill to the check in area you are instantly greeted by a warm smiling and friendly person, which is needed after dealing with the Charlotte Traffic. The person at the check in is quick about processing your paper work and very friendly to understand why you are here and quick to make helpful recommendations.

Due to the hilly conditions of the resort you are guided into your site by a friendly attendant.

The facilities are on . The trash is picked up from your site 2-3 time per day. The conditions of the park are perfect! The bathhouse/laundry room are immaculate. The grounds are well manicured.

The nightly rates are reasonable and comparable to other area RV parks. Our biggest mistake is that we only planned to spend 1 day/night at this park.In hindsight we should have stayed at least 3-4 days

Due to our RV lifestyle we very rarely visit the same RV park twice. This park will definitely be on our 2016 RV Tour. We camped at Lake Norman Motor Coach Resort in a Motorhome.

Liberty Harbor RV Park, Jersey City, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here five times and have found this park to be the best value for the money. The facilities are OK. The staff here are very, very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the local area. This park welcomes children but does not have separate activities for kids. Prior to arriving double check your directions with the staff just to make sure you will not get hung up on a side street. We camped at Liberty Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Harbortown RV Resort, Monroe, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Great park! We arrived a few hours before check in and the clerk apologized because our site wasn't ready and offered us full use of the facilities and a shaded spot to park while waiting. The clerk also offered suggestions for easy day trips that were RV friendly. When we arrived back later that afternoon our site was ready. This place has plenty to do if you have a family and it is quiet enough if that your thing! Also if going in late June beware of the fish flies. We camped at Harbortown RV Resort in a Motorhome.
