Clear Creek RV Park, Golden, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this campground several times the campground itself doesn't show a lot of amenities they rely on the surrounding area for their. Camping near Denver it's extremely difficult due to the few campgrounds they have in the area. I would stay at this park again only for the fact that it is one of the nicest in the area around the Denver area .they have no clubhouse pool hot tub or playground these you have to pay extra for by leaving the campground and going to the rec center for extra money The people that run the campground do A good job and are very helpful finding you a spot there are only 25 sites so it is a small campground and and all are back in Seit I would stay here again only because it is the best one in the area. We camped at Clear Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Junction KOA, Grand Junction, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park I think is one of the nicest in Grand Junction. It close to everything yet far enough away to give you privacy. Quiet sites in the rear of the campground are the best. They do have satellite friendly and super luxury sites which we had one of the nicest sites in the campground. The staff was great and very helpful. The luxury sites are pull through and long enough for our 65 foot truck and trailer and car. The owner seems to constantly update this park to make it nicer for guests. We are very happy and will stay here again! It is also a great spot centrally located for all sightseeing which is a must in Grand Junction area! We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Osens RV Park & Campground, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campground that is very well maintained. The owners and workers are very nice and accommodating to every one. The park is quiet and easy to navigate around. It was close to everything in town, there is a nice path that we rode to take our bikes to town everyday. The dog run is large and well maintained. This is also a great park to stay at to visit Yellowstone. The only thing to remember when visiting this park is when you turn onto Merill lane, it gets a little narrow but we had no problem getting our 65' semi and 5th wheel in. They have cable but most sites you can get your satellite to work. If you have stayed here in years past check it out again the owners take pride in their campground and seem to have recently expanded and have re-sodded several of the sites. Livingston is a nice small town that has a lot of options but manages to remain a quaint town. Internet is important to me and theirs worked great. We will stay here again. Crookston City Park, Crookston, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very pretty park, we stay here when we visit family in town. We only gave this a 6 because although they have a water fill up station it is hard to get to and you have to go across town to dump. They also have a bit of a drainage issue. The park is in the flood plain so when they had an unseasonable amount of rain the park flooded and we had to switch sites. Despite these issues this is still a nice park to stay in when visiting town. We camped at Crookston City Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Red Trail Campground, Medora, North Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nice campground to stay at when visiting Medora. We travel slowly so we stayed for a week but most campers stayed for 2-3 days. Wifi is very important for me and theirs worked well. Medora is a nice town to get around in if you just want to ride bikes. The only time we used our car all week was to go to The Musical, which is on top of a hill that unless you are an avid biker you would not want to tackle on a bike. If you are visiting here make sure you have everything you need because there is not grocery store in town. The closest groceries are 40 miles away in Dickinson. We ran out of a couple things and the local convenient store had a couple tomatoes and apples they could sell us. Don’t miss going to Roosevelt National Park it is a wonderful park. We would stay here again. Rate reflects a weekly rate. We camped at Red Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Thief River Falls Tourist Park, Thief River Falls, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground but the road noise can get quite loud at times. Their restrooms were nice and very clean. They don't have an office onsite but there is a camp host that was very friendly and very helpful. Wifi is very important to me and theirs was not consistent, but I was able to go to the library to accomplish what I needed. This town has a lot to offer and this campground works well for us whenever we are in town. We will stay here again. Rate reflects a weekly rate. We camped at Thief River Falls Tourist Park in a Fifth Wheel.
