NET Camping Resort, Vineland, Ontario

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of activities for the kids, weekend campers are far from pool/activities - so it was a bit of a hike. Tons of seasonal campers. The area we were in had average to small sites, no shade and no privacy. The bathroom was in a mobile type of structure - it was clean and new, however they were having septic/plumbing issues when I was there and for most of the stay there was at least one clogged toilet. The ground on are site was very dry, almost how you wold imagine a desert! Cracked, made pegging down our sunshade very difficult. All in all it is a great park for kids. We camped at NET Camping Resort in a Tent Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for two weekday nights, with 3 kids. Lots of activities to keep the kids busy. You had to pay extra for several activities - so it ended up being quite an expensive camp out! But the kids had a lot of fun, and the staff was very nice. Very clean, smallish sites, with not a lot of shade (in the area we stayed) and not a lot of privacy. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Tent Trailer.

Darien Lake Campground, Darien Center, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed twice this summer - alway a great value for your dollar. Both times we camped using a half price promo deal. Sites are nicely shaded, bathrooms do the job - but they really need to be tended to several times a day...and need a good scrub down daily....I don't think that happens. The staff are very friendly and the check in process is quick. I've already booked for next year! We camped at Darien Lake Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Maple Grove Trailer Park (Seasonal Only), Flamborough, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful safe campground, lovely pool, clean washrooms. Nice quiet family friendly park. Playground could use updating. It's not really safe. It is a wooden handy man special that makes you a little nervous with little ones (splinters, falls, etc). Owners are friendly, seem to be on a bit of a power trip at times. Not tons for kids to do, but the activities committee seem to do the best the can to organize activities. Not sure if they let in weekend campers any longer (only seasonal) as the info is not on their website. Seasonal guests only. We camped at Maple Grove Trailer Park (Seasonal Only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Bingemans Camping Resort, Kitchener, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Park itself is nothing special. We stayed here to go to Bingemans Big Splash Park. Washrooms were not very clean - I did not take a shower, so I didn't look in the stalls. I did see someone cleaning it one morning...but perhaps they need to do a washroom "check" or clean a couple times a day? Playground was really pathetic. That's an exact quote from my 10 year old and her friend. My 5 year old said it was for babies. Literally one slide. Overall it is fine, just no "frills" whatsoever. If you are traveling with kids, make sure they have lots to keep them occupied if you don't plan to go to the water park. We camped at Bingemans Camping Resort in a Tent Trailer.

Darien Lake Campground, Darien Center, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $250.00
Overall Rating:

I've stayed here in the past and had a wonderful experience. This past time I was not as impressed. They've changed the way you book the campsites. I used to be able to choose the sites, but this time it was by "tier" levels. I was really disappointed with the spot we were at. No trees. I felt it was quite a hike to the park even though it was a "top tier". One of the toilets in the bathroom was continually overflowing, and my daughter was quite upset when she used that bathroom and it overflowed. I suppose if I got to choose my spot I would not be as disappointed. Other than that, it is a nice spot to park and camp next to the amusement park. We camped at Darien Lake Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Cedar Beach Resort, Stouffville, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here while our oldest son was competing nearby for his track and field. It was a really nice campground. Lots for kids to do with beach, pool, splash pad, outdoor movies, playgrounds, library, etc. There was a cute little store which the kids loved. A bit of a hike to the splash pad, because it is located in the park across the road for the seasonal campers. The washrooms by the splash pad/seasonal area were modern & lovely. The washrooms by the weekend campers were clean, but a bit old. The park was quiet on the 2 weekdays we were there, but got quite busy on the weekend. We camped at Cedar Beach Resort in a Tent Trailer.

NET Camping Resort, Vineland, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

I really liked this park. Fantastic for kids - so much going on! Our campsite was squished between a bunch of "seasonal" campers. It was close to everything, but I felt a tad bit awkward, like we were intruding on people, but they were very nice. Bathrooms were OK. Far but probably because I was in the "seasonal section". I would book again and maybe choose the tent/weekend camper area. We camped at NET Camping Resort in a Tent Trailer.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

I don't have a bad thing to say about this campground. It is pricey - but is the best camping experience I've ever had. Would highly recommend it. I've stayed here two separate times and absolutely loved it. Clean washrooms, ice machines, laundry facilities, transportation to amusement parks, clean gravel sites. Campsites don't have fire pits, but there is a nightly group campfire and movie with Chip and Dale. Love, love, love! We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Tent Trailer.
