Richmond KOA, Richmond, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Great management. Nice park with some tight spots but none that are too small. Nice pond and most sights are level. Not a big KOA fan but this park is worth another visit and a very positive review. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Motorhome.

Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Very enjoyable stay, except for island traffic. The park is clean and manicured. Very nice location. Wi-Fi and cable TV work well. The dog didn't like to walk on the roads, as the surface has a peaked texture to it that hurt his feet. Will stay again when in the area. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Tropical Palms Resort and Campground, Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Well kept nice park. Many ants and bugs, made it tough to enjoy being outside. My premium site, while level, was quite small but seemed to be the exception to the rule. Cable was fuzzy with minimal channels and Wi-Fi was on the slow side. Sewer was a good 40' from the coach and uphill a bit. Nice location and easy to get to with decent restaurants in the area. The Italian joint just outside the park is quite good. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Evergreen Park, Dundee, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Really nice place. Would rate a 10 if the sites were a little bigger and more level. Some sites are way too pitched. Noticed a few units with both back wheels off the ground in an effort to get level. Wi-fi is excellent, and the park is immaculate. We camped at Evergreen Park in a Motorhome.

We like this park. It's quiet and relaxing, and the dog loves to swim in the pond. The owners could be a little more friendly than they were. In no way are they rude, but they don't act like they enjoy the park much. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Motorhome.

Traverse Bay RV Resort, Williamsburg, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Very pretty park. The grounds are perfect and the ponds are clear and clean. Smallish pool for a park this size but all other facilities are wonderful. One of the quieter resorts I've ever been to. It seemed the sidewalks rolled up at 8PM. It's an over 55 park, but there were a few, well behaved children around. We camped at Traverse Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sunny Brook RV Resort, South Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Very fine resort. Management is very nice and works hard to get everyone involved in activities. Pool/clubhouse area is wonderful. The park is still very new and some of the grass isn't 100% yet but they take very good care of the property. In 5 years, this will be top of the line. Only complaint is the lack of cable TV. Other than that, this is a great place. We camped at Sunny Brook RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Winton Woods Campground, Cincinnati, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I live in the area and happened to drive through today. They are doing a massive upgrade to the facility that is supposed to be done in May of 2008. They added a new street and look to be upgrading the services on an estimated 50 sites to full hookups. thats the good news. The bad news is that they probably only have 20 electric only sites available until it's done. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

Little Farm On The River LLC, Rising Sun, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $38.00

We are long time customers here and have stayed here monthly many times. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the last few reviews. Of late, the park seems to be poorly run and the employees have poor attitudes. You can just tell that they are going to say no before you even make a request. They promise things that they don't follow up on also. A few weeks ago, they had me move from a riverfront to an interior site claiming that they had made a mistake giving me one as they had committed the whole riverfront. The site I was moved from stayed vacant the whole weekend (as did 4 others). When questioned about it they just shrugged their shoulders and didn't offer an explanation. One of the girls later admitted that there was no reason we had to move. BTW, they do have Wi-Fi but I have yet to be able to get it to work. The system won't let me acquire a network address We camped at Little Farm On The River LLC in a Motorhome.

Follow the River RV Resort, Florence, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a new park that hasn't yet started to advertise because they are not fully functional yet. They have started on the pool and volleyball court and anticipate finishing them within a few weeks. I never asked about their plans for WiFi. All sites have concrete pads and the roads are paved. They have done a great job so far and all their work is top notch. The park could use some more plantings to provide some shade. The owners are very nice people and go out of their way to take care of you. I'll be back. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Seaport RV Resort, Old Mystic, Connecticut

Never stayed here and won't. I made a reservation in Feb of 2008 for the w/e of 7/12/2008. Was never told of the "no refund" policy. I called today, 6 weeks prior to the stay, and was told that they could only give me a "credit" good for that amount at any of their other parks. I explained that the closest park of theirs is almost 500 miles away and a credit won't do me any good. While they are pleasant (the reason for the 2 rating), they just ran me up the chain of command hoping I'd give up. They don't know me very well! I have a personal policy that prohibits me from doing business with companies that steal from me. They are trying to, and they won't ever see another dime of my money. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Natural Springs Resort, New Paris, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Some beautiful spots but the nice ones don't have 50 amp service. Busy place, especially on a holiday weekend, but that's to be expected. I was promised a 50 amp site, but didn't get one. To be honest, my 30 amp site was far superior to the really tight 50 amp sites but their attitude could have been better. As far as I know, there is no cable TV here. Try the diner right at the entrance for breakfast. great food and selection. We camped at Natural Springs Resort in a Motorhome.

Royal Coachman RV Resort, Nokomis, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Fine park with a mixture of modular homes and camping. Nice facilities (wonderful pool and surrounding area). People seemed nice but we weren't there long enough (one night) to really tell. Easy access from the highway but far enough away so there is no noise. Take your map when walking (I left bread crumbs but my Lab ate em) as the layout can be confusing at first. We camped at Royal Coachman RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bluewater Key RV Resort, Key West, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

Picture perfect site and campground. Site had a dock and a tiki hut with fans, a wet bar, a gas grill, table and chairs and storage. Everything was top shelf. People were friendly without being intrusive. The only negative was that we were not allowed to fish off the dock. Not sure if this a campground perogative or the owners. For those that raise an eyebrow over the price ($150/night), I say that it's not often that you get what you pay for, but you do here. We will stay here when back in the Keys. We camped at Bluewater Key RV Resort in a Motorhome.
