Everything was in great shape, very well maintained and clean. The lady at check-in was very personable and helpful. Breaux Bridge is a sweet little town with some great food and music. French Quarter RV Resort, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $82.00
Overall Rating:

We love this place! More expensive during Saints home games and festival. Still, a lot cheaper than staying somewhere nice in the quarter. The pool, hot tub, bathroom, showers, and lounge area are always immaculate. It's a couple of blocks to walk to the French Quarter. Staff is always polite and helpful, and the taxis know where it is if you need to cab it anywhere. One of our favorite RV resorts. Near the Basin Street tourist info center and the police station. Easy access from I-10. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Opelousas South City Park, Opelousas, Louisiana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to overnight. We got there around 10 pm and within 15 minutes a city worker in uniform and marked vehicle came around and collected the $10. Well lit. We are 13'6" high and were able to get down Market Street to the park without clipping the top with the low hanging branches. We pulled into the big lot on the left as you come in; we were the only ones there. Easy hookups on the utility poles. Didn't check out the bathroom as we are self contained. Park is very nice and well kept. They lock the gate at 11:00 and re-open at 6:30 am. We camped at Opelousas South City Park in a Motorhome.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The owners were very nice, and the view from our RV was absolutely beautiful! Long spaces, all in rows so not much privacy between rigs. There are some young trees planted and in a couple of years the sites will be shady. Bathrooms were about the best we've seen- clean, really big, and great hot water and water pressure. Picnic tables and grills. Birdhouses on the fence post with bluebirds kept my husband entertained. Little BIghorn Battlefield is on the ridge above it. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Wheatland City Park, Wheatland, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $5.00
Overall Rating:

This is a donation only park. We stayed a few days to visit some friends in Wheatland and the park is great! Lots of shade, swimming pool up the hill, skate park, playground, picnic shelters, and room to run around. Drawbacks were the bathrooms are kind of icky, and no showers, and there aren't water hook-ups, though they do have spigots where you can fill your tank. The donations you stick into a slit in a metal pole by the front. There are only a couple of spaces that would fit a 40' rig. We camped at Wheatland City Park in a Motorhome.

Ellis Lakeside Campground, Ellis, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Cute little town, grocery store in walking distance. Has nice wide spaces, plenty of room, shaded spots facing the water. Picnic tables and grills, playground, lots of room for kids to run around. Great value for the money. No reservations. We got there around 6 and there were several available spots. Well patrolled. Bathrooms were dated but clean and had hot showers. We camped at Ellis Lakeside Campground in a Motorhome.
