Shamrock RV Park, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2006 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We are renting monthly here. The staff works hard on the property and the park shows it. Very quiet yet still convenient to the highway. Minutes from downtown Reno. True there is not a large pet area, but there is an off leash dog park 2 minutes down the road. Bathrooms are clean, park is clean, the staff is very helpful. We weren't sure if we would stay here until we actually got here and also looked around at the other parks in town. We will stay here for 3 months. We camped at Shamrock RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Graceland RV Park & Campground, Memphis, Tennessee

Overall Rating:

Walking distance to Graceland, 10-15 min from downtown. Perfect for us, just passing through and spending the day at Graceland. Quiet, plenty of places to walk the dogs. We camped at Graceland RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

River's End Campground & RV Park, Tybee Island, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and it was full. Getting to the site was a tight fit for our 33 ft. fifth wheel, narrow roads with some low branches. Some spaces are close together but there are some that have some more room (we had one on a corner lot). Quiet, family friendly and close to the beach and lighthouse. There is even a shuttle to the beach. We camped at River's End Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with plenty of shade. Office staff helped me park, some pull throughs are close to the road and I couldn't put my awning up. Fantastic place for families, the park has much to offer for outdoor activities, fireworks and laser shows on weekends. We love to stay here. Make sure you have 8 dollars cash to get in the main gate. We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Hoover RV Park, Hoover, Alabama

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is like a large parking lot with grass islands between some sites. It is a newer campground and it's right next to the Hoover Met in case you wanted to take in a baseball game or other special event. There is no office but Hoover police do check in. It's a nice place to spend a night or two, fireworks at the Met every weekend during baseball season. No restrooms, showers or other amenities. We camped at Hoover RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
