My comments below from 2016 hold true through the 2017 season as well. Several more of the bad apples have either left or been evicted (as recently as today 8/3/17). Additionally, this year the campground has made so many improvements! The water system was completely overhauled, electric services upgraded, septics have all been located and consistently maintained, and improvements to facilities such as the volleyball court. The improvements continue daily! The goal of family friendly, quiet and respectful campers, and all around beauty is coming together! (2016) Keep in mind, most of the bad reviews are coming from either evicted or disgruntled seasonals after finally being held to the rules. This campground has improved SIGNIFICANTLY since we came for our first tour in 2014. We began our seasonal residency here in 2015, are here again for the 2016 season, and just signed up for the 2017 season. The improvements made so far are impressive, and the remaining items are being worked on. This place was in bankruptcy for many years before the new management company took over in 2015. They are doing the best they can with what they were given. The new site manager this year, was given the task of putting the rules in place and finally enforcing them. Some of the seasonals didn't like that, as they were the proverbial inmates running the asylum before. Evictions were made and the place has been heaven since! Thank you for all your hard work! We camped at Coldbrook Resort Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Close enough yet far enough away from Lake George. 10 minutes to Saratoga Springs area.

This was our first time camping at Ledgeview and the best word to describe it is IMPRESSIVE! Everything was so well cared for, clean, and beautiful. The staff at the front was such a nice gentleman. This park is quiet, family friendly, beautiful, and immaculate (this coming from someone with OCD when it comes to cleaning). There are many seasonal sites, several seasonal trailers with Florida rooms, and many many transient sites. The sites are all very level, large, and well maintained. I cannot say enough about this park. Having camped most of my childhood, and now getting back into it as an adult, I can say this is by far the best maintained and cleanest that I can remember. If the park was pet friendly, we would be here seasonally! Going back in September for the Balloon Fest and already we can't wait! Great job! We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was the first campground we went to with our new travel trailer. The owner called us shortly after our reservation to advise us that there was a very large group of Russian emigrants that holds an annual get-together at the park the weekend we booked. She wanted to let us know that, since it was such a large group, the quiet hours would not be enforced and there would be ethnic type folk music playing well into the morning hours. The reason for her call was to make sure we still wanted to come, and she offered to move the reservation or refund our money. Being as my father-in-law is from Austria, we wanted to enjoy the music, etc. that this group had to offer, and we chose to keep our reservation. We were very impressed that the owner called to discuss this with us first - very courteous. We were not disappointed. The grounds were clean, the staff extremely nice and helpful, and the pool was great! Our pre-teen daughter and her friend basically lived at the pool. The people from the group were very nice as well. Now both our daughter and my father-in-law want to return each year for this weekend :) The ONLY reason I did not give a full 10 on the rating was simply because we just stayed at a campground in NY that was a little cleaner than this one. However, if there was a way to give this campground a 9 1/2 star, I would! We camped at Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA in a Travel Trailer.
