Absolutely beautiful gem of a park in the North Georgia Mountains! The new owners are gracious hosts and make you feel at home. The catch and release fishing pond was a hit with our kids. Saturday night we were entertained with live music on the lawn. I would give them a higher score than 10 if I could. My son said this is the best campground we have ever been to!

This is a beautiful campground and park owned by the county. It is large but the spaces are situated such that you have alot of privacy. We were in space #45 which was right across from the bathhouse. The spaces are hard packed sand and ours was level. There is a concrete patio that you can pull your camper up to so that when you step out you are on concrete. Each site had a picnic table and fire ring/grill top. The cable TV worked well for us as did the Wifi. There is a nice playground, a swimming lake, canoe rental, fishing and biking trail. There isn't a camp store, but they do sell ice. There are 2 soda machines. We have At&t cell service and had good reception. There is a Dollar General Store about 3 miles down the road if you need supplies. Overall, great experience!

Very nice state park campground. We were in area A, site 37, and all sites in our area were newly paved. Our site which was lake front has a nice metal fenced patio area. Several of the lake front sites had this. The bath house also looked newly built and featured 8 private baths with the sink, toilet and shower in each. They were ADA accessible and the showers featured a fold up bench with upper and lower shower heads. No Wi-Fi, but they are in the process of installing it. The towers are there already. Good cell service. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Papa Johns delivers to the campsite!

Nice campground for families with children. The site was gravel but level. Sites are close together but that is common in Pigeon Forge. Very nice snack bar/camp store with hand dipped ice cream. Cable, Wi-Fi, and cell service (AT&T) all worked well. Bathrooms were older design, but clean. Would stay here again.

We camped here at site 62. Very shaded, with a concrete pad and gravel picnic area and fire ring. Our site was lake-front, but we couldn't access the lake from our site due to a steep ledge. Some other campers on our loop (sites 62-75) had their boats tied up to their sites. There is a nice swimming area and beach very close to our loop and the bath house was about 100 yards away. The bath house was clean, and is your typical state park type of facility. We would camp here again.

Beautiful campground at the base of Brasstown Bald. Very clean and well kept. Nice pool, mini golf, and playground for the kids. They also offer pedal boats and canoes for rent to use on their small lake. Very gracious staff. We would definitely like to camp here again. Our rate was with Good Sam discount.
